Whooo Hoooo! We're glad you got tix! Applause! Applause! While we were waiting for you to check in (and waiting for cookies to come out of the oven) The Matt Barranti Band's version of Liz Reed came on Radio HTW. It was wonderful, and reminded me they've got shows at the Triad next Thursday and Friday after the Beacon. I am sooo there. Who can join me? Speaking of The Matt Barranti Band, add Ian Moore, the Black Crowes and North Mississippi All Stars to the list of "more, more, more" artists now playing on Radio HTW. Thanks very much to everyone who's making our musical garden grow. Take care and know that you are loved, Lana

Thanks for all the good thoughts guys. We felt em. We might have a few extras for westbound extended family members. We'll let you know when we compare notes. Bring your tie dies, sandles, beach blankets, bikinis (no bikini for you Bird) and sunscreen and we'll show you how we do it on the left.

Dino described what we just went thru perfectly: We feel like that guy in the wind booth trying to grab $1 bills on a game show. We have no idea what we got, but the important thing is....we all got tix. Now let's pray for a Saturday show!!!!

Huh? Did you say something Dino? That Robert Randolph is one loud mofo. Great show!!! Check him out if you can. Talked with him after the show and he said that they are going out with Dave Mathews in April and then some more club dates followed by some recording and then stay tuned for some more Word dates in August. Didn't quite get the whole Keller Williams thing. Just being honest.

You know one of the cool things about these westcoast shows is how genuinely happy people are for us slugs out here. Thanks family...we needed this. Now if everyone can get there good vibe mojo working at noon PST, we can land some stellar seats. I hope all you guys don't go to the great lengths that we go to to get good seats. L.A. is an industry town so about a quarter of the house (the best seats) are held back for the pariahs (sp?) Well, we have 3 guys using 6 different methods to get tix. Fingers crossed.

Ok, angels, Gospel brunch and B4B are about to begin. Lemme hear y' say, "Oh yeah!" (listening ...) Pretty good! Jacquie, count me in! We're going to have to do a *lot* of dancing at night to burn off all these treats, or hiking around Central Park during the day. That's another fun thing about staying at the Beacon - Central Park is just a few blocks away. Michael, you're just easy! 😉 Take care and know that you are loved, Lana

Good morning, everyone! Lana, you made me drool on my computer with all of that B4B talk! Folks, if you're not aware, Lana can COOK and BAKE! Yum! With the usual Sunday morning brunch tunes being programmed by the "lady behind the curtain" for RadioHTW, I keep realizing that I need larger speakers for this Mac and then some way to get the sound out to my small "living area" so I can enjoy these tunes. Poop! 🙁 Well, those that can hear it well, enjoy! (Hey, there was some NMAS just on!) Left coast folks--good luck to you today!

It must be an Italian thing (we love to feed people!), I was reading Lana's post on her baking cookies just as I was debating whether or not to make a double batch of pizzelles to bring up with the Sweeties on Friday. So, for those of you planning on coming to the Hospitality Suite pre, post or antytime from Friday through Sunday - who likes pizzelles? Is it worth my while to butter up my pizzelle iron? Hey, Deb, did I miss your birthday? If I did please forgive me and I hope you had a wonderful, wonderful day. Extra jello shots for you! Can you believe it's really THIS WEEK??? Can't wait to see you all.

Ok (she wrote, going for a hat trick - 3 posts in a row), can't believe it never occured to us to share this Peakin' tip with you before: The Beacon Hotel has a *great* laundry room - just like you'd find in an apartment bldg. If you're staying there and want to pack light, it's easy to toss a load in and dry it w/i 2 hours. The reason I thought of it is I'll be carrying all those cookies for Marley and started thinking about how many clothes I can bring along 😉 There are some great new additions to Radio HTW - Jack Pearson, Blue Rodeo, ARU, Talking Feather, and more. Thanks, everyone, for making Radio HTW yours *k*. Take care and know that you are loved, Lana

Hey Marley, Have you gone to bed yet? Or are you too excited to sleep? Just wanted to let you know today is B4B day here at the Little House -- that means Baking4Beacon. The house is going to be warm with the scent of brownies, sugar, chocolate chip and peanut butter cookies baking - dozens of 'em. But you'll have to share 😉 Take care and know that you are loved, Lana
