Who knows where Berry Richmond is. I see Johnny from ther fish camp mentioned his name along with Lamdog. He was the other guitar player along with brother Twiggs when the Allmost bros. started. Is he going to be at GABBA? Sure would like to see him.

Props to Jaan Uhelszki, that's one of the best Gregg pieces (and most interesting GA interviews) that I've ever read. Posed a couple of questions I'd have asked myself if I had the opportunity. Maybe I might've asked a little more about the new album, but I enjoyed that one very much. Figures that right after the lousy Billboard review, we get something really interesting. Peace. --Marley

Hello Folks, Hope everyone is doing well this afternoon. Brent, I seem to recall that there was an extra day added back in Dec., 72. I just ordered my copy of American University through Hittin' The Note Mag. Can't wait to hear it. Have a great night all...Peace...

Tom: You didn't know that they added an extra day to 1972? We were having so much fun Congress decided to extend it by 24 hours.

Hey Tom, 12/32/72 is one way of making a good year last just one day longer, didn’t you know that? Showing my age here. I need to learn how to preview before I submit!

Ummm....For those of you who, like me, have trouble with remainders in fractions, I do believe "12/32/72" would be properly written as "1/1/73" LOL!!! As soon as you figure out what date it is Wayne, I'll let you know if I have it/need it. LOL Take it easy, talk later. Tom S.

hey nypeachhead, thanks just got your package, boy does this bring back memories. dickey and jack, acoustic liz reed, then electric later. boy i miss those acoustic sets.this was a great era that i almost forgot about, we have been through so many changes, but the boys just get better and better. people(who don't go to there shows) don't believe me but they do. i'm still in awe from last weeks shows, I can't get enough.just waiting on some of the 2002 Beacon run shows to circulate.if any one is listening, please get them going , because i'm not the onlyone dying to here them.

Tom, glad your neighbor just didn’t throw it away like mine would have! That is a good show, glad you are enjoying it. Wait until you hear Dimples! Like I said in my note, not sure on the date, but after a few emails from some folks I believe it is the 5/2/70 instead of the 5/9/70. Nevertheless, it is a keeper. On another note, I got Capt. Skip’s remastered show of 12/32/72 from Ron B. yesterday (Thanks!) and man oh man! Killer, the best show I have heard from that version of the band. Amazing quality, I had an earlier version of the show and it is incredible the difference in sound. The Capt. sure as heck knows what he is doing. It hasn’t left the cd player here at work all day.

Thanks Eliot. Wow, I wonder what Queen of Hearts would have sounded like as an ABB song? Interesting.

Hey Wayne, just came home for lunch and the *new* next door neighbor says, "Hey, you know some guy named Tom Seeks?" I say yeah, I'm Tom Seeks. He says, "You wanna come get your mail outta my house then?" Lo and behold, it's a package from you! Thanks Bro. Glad this dude next door is a head banger now. Otherwise he would've been looking inside to see if there's more of what I use to cancel out his Ozzy and whatever! I'm listening right now and I'm only on the third song. Already I've noticed some rareities. One, when has any incarnation of ABB ever played Dreams for the third song? Can't say it never happened, but it does seem like it would be rare. Second, the opener, Statesboro, is a very different version than their usual romp. It goes from almost nothing during Duane's first half of his solo, to a raucous, blazing-with-his-fingers-on-fire climax! Shwew! Sweet stuff, thanks a ton Bro. I'll have to make some room on the hard drive and offer this one up. I'll get to it as soon as I can. When I came in here I was going to say something about some other topic being discussed, but I had a complete brain-fade. Oh well, as my dear departed Granny used to say, guess it couldn't have been that important! Y'all take care, talk later. Tom S.
