So jealous of you DBGS people, sounds like one incredible show. Gets my whistle whetted for when Lana brings them up here.... but wait a week or two till spring thaws... I am looking out my window at rather large and prolific snowflakes coming down.

Hey there sweet peaches, sorry I haven't posted my review from the Saturday DB&GS show Saturday. Our online at work has been offline since late Thursday...what a drag...no gb all day. Makes for a long day. I have also been really busy working on the house. Stormy, I have more sheetrock dust in my lungs than oxygen. We are finishing up the painting (hired someone-had enough already!) The carpet has been ordered and will be installed after we clean up from painter. He's doing a beautiful job, but there is paint EVERWHERE! Hope to move in by the end of May.OK, the show...I had the best time...Dickey was on fire. He responded to the audience and seemed like he was really enjoying himself and seemed to genuinely want to please the crowd. This band is so tight and so full of energy! WOW...please do yourselves a favor and catch these boys if they come within your listening area. But honestly I don't know which was more enjoyable, the music or the companionship of the wonderful friends I have met at this website. The best people in the world are right here. Thanks to all you peaches! I mean this from the bottom of my heart, I love you all!I have so much more to share with you all, but I have to discuss this with another peach first before I can blab anymore.Jeanne, you are such a sweetheart. Thanks for the housewarming gift. How very thoughtful of you. Thanks for sharing an incredible evening with me. And thanks to all the other sweetiepies who I will name later (after I speak to the person I am waiting to hear from...pick up the landline bro!)Thanks Peachnutt for Bonnie...love that woman!Wayne, received the cd today. Thanks so much. Will check it out in a few minutes. Don't know what the post office did, but the stamps were not cancelled...go figure?JJ, if you are reading this, hugs to you. What a thrill to meet you. You warmed my heart. You have a great spirit. Lammie, you were greatly missed Saturday. To all you peaches that shared the vibe with me on Saturday, thank you so much. I will have another post coming soon I hope. If only that darned phone would ring....Welcome Cindie, enjoy the ride! Peachful daze to all... 😉

MY GOD! DTB in St Pete. Ditto Govt Mule. Ditto DB+GS. GA&F in Tampa . Now ABB at Ruth Eckerd Hall in Clearwater! Am I dreaming? After all these years I finally get to see the band in an auditorium (about 2200 seats) with acoustics actually designed for music. (Sept 14) If you are in the Tampa/St Pete area do not miss this show! Its been a long time since the boys have played this FL area, and this venue is perfect for them. I'm ready now! EAPFP

Like Brother Ryan, I'm also getting a little concerned about the Nashville show on July 4th, because there hasn't been any ticket information listed, whereas everything else on the first leg of the tour is already on sale, and even a couple of the August shows as well. How 'bout it, Lana?

Lana, I saw a post in Warren Haynes section of the forum that a guy wrote saying he had purchased tickets for a Gov't Mule show on July 4th that is in Indiana. Is the July 4th ABB show in Nashville not set in stone? Please help if you have any info. I looked at the Mule.net site and they don't have the date listed but it is up on ticketmaster's site. Thanks, Ryan

Mitch, praise Tuesday! I would take any good band any month on any Tuesday in Montana! Good thing Lana is working on that DBGS show up here. Lana, I was wrong, it is a 6 (not 3) million dollar horsie arena. That should make the difference...

Good Monday to All!If I didn't already thank Wayne for the MPEG disc, let me do so now. Great quality and a wonder to see for those of us who never saw Duane play. Also got a package from Great Scott, and can't wait to spin those discs...two blues greats...Albert King and Muddy Waters. I'm sure to enjoy that. Can't believe the tentative date for ABB at Jones Beach is on a Tuesday, that stinks, but this year I will go no matter how bad the acoustics are there. Anyone interested in a quick tailgate sort of party before the show somwwhere? Mitch

Hey I thought this was mentioned once this would be awesome. I would bet the peach corps could sell out an entire cruise ship lets party. We Could have Susan T, open followed by the DTB, Gov't Mule then the Allman Brothers daily for 7 days, 6 nights. The Rock Boat gives fans an up-close and personal experience with their favorite artists and is a great way for the bands to say thanks to all their fans," "Because of the overwhelming response from last year's Rock Boat cruise, we chartered an entire ship for 2002. Half the cruise is already sold out!

I'm surprised by the lack of post's regarding Dickey, after all, we have two bands now. The ABB and Dickey's. Anyway, I went to the late set on Fri. and it was nothing short of amazing, great venue, great energy, great beer. Opener was, of course, Rave On, then a couple of new tunes... then Blue Sky folloed by Jessica. mmm mmmm Those two alone worth the price of admission. They ended up with Liz Reed, and after a teeny break came out with Back where it all begins into Noone left to Run with. Yes, a double encore. Well, my evening was complete, I haven't heard Back Where it all.. in a very long time, Then I read yesterday the y played High Falls-love that tune. Seems if you wanna catch all your ABB favorites, you're gonna have to catch two bands. NOT A PROBLEM AT ALL.
