Just wanted to share this: I had what I'm calling a "rock and roll dork moment" last night. My gf had several hundred pages of Moby Dick to read, and she ended our online chat by saying she was "off to hunt the white whale." I said "ok, Robin Marie." She completely didn't get it...does anybody here? 😉

Check this out!! In the December 2002 issue of MOJO magazine, there's a FREE 16 track 'Mind Blowing Classics' CD. Featuring The Small Faces, Donovan, Sebadoh and Grandmaster Flash it's the perfect prescription to feed your head. In the new edition: The 100 Greatest Drug Songs Ever Talking of feeding your head MOJO bring you the ultimate pharmaceutical gurus with detailed descriptions of each track. In the words of Butch Trucks (real name) of The Allman Brothers Band "We'd come in after rehearsing take some psilocybin and play stickball 'til 4am. We stayed alive because we were so weird." The massive exploration of drug culture has indepth features on the following Queens Of the Stone Age Jenny Buller hangs out with the feel-good rulers of desert psych. The Allman Brothers Band Barney Hoskyns delves into the epic tale of white-boy blues and Southern tragedy. Happy Mondays How a bunch of shifty Mancunians with a load of ecstacy changed the face of British rock. By John Harris Bob Dylan How a '60s folk hero altered the collective mind of a generation. Everybody must get stoned says Andy Gill Time Machine U2 abandon pomp, Billy Idol is hospitalised, Screamin' Jay Hawkins acts. So '89 wasn't really that bad then was it? I just heard from a usually reliable source that Susan T. is flying to NYC today from L.A. where she appeared with Sheryl Crow and some other singers. She will be with the dTb tonight and through the weekend -- including, of course, the live show on CBS at approximately 7:00 AM. A few days later Susan is going on tour ... with the Other Ones! She is going to be the "new" Donna Godchaux. If our boys look a little tired on Saturday morning, the word is that they are going to drive straight to Manhattan from their Friday night gig and set up for a sound check at 5:30 AM. They won't have a chance to sleep until after the show. Exciting news about our friends!

Hey now Walker - No offense taken and I hope there is none on your side either. There is much latitude granted to computer newbies. This is a place where a diverse crowd of folks from all over the world come to celebrate the best band that ever played. You are welcome here. I look forward to your posts in the future and I'll hopefully get a chance to hear your CD one day soon. Good luck in your career!

Happy Birthday Lana! Also, speaking of Yes,I mentioned to Jaimoe when he was playing with PSB last month, that I was going to see Yes,Nov.2nd at the Oakdale in Hartford,CT.and he told me that he was at the Fillmore East in 1970 when Tony Williams(great jazz drummer)opened for Yes.He said when Bill Bruford(Yes's drummer at the time) heard Tony play he decided he should quit Yes and learn to play jazz(or somthing like that?)Anyway Yes really sounded great when I saw them,I highy recommed going to see them this tour! Hope to see you all soon!

hello everybody, I got some grief for plugging my new C.d. , and I want to apologize, I genuinely love the bros music. the songwriting style of greg's solo work definately influenced me, and god knows In a world of Limp bisquits and Korns self promotion is the only thing an independent musician has. I was offended that my birthday wish was viewed as bullshit. to make good, lana send me an address, i will send you 3 free C.D's. help save the song.peace all
