Hophead, if I could I would bring you solace with a visit to the Varsity near Tech, but alas.....heck, is it even there still? Cheers CRR

GreatScott! I owe you a cold one at the Variety, bro. This is the most humiliating loss I have ever experienced. But one thing doesn't change ... TO HELL WITH GEORGIA!

Awman, has the Carolina Panthers news not reached you?? The team is being moved to Raleigh so that Ray Carruth can be on the team again and they will be playing the home games from the Central Prison exercise area.... :cop: They make us so proud here in Carolina!! 😆

Hi Lana, Hat night at RBC eh? It certainly was for Hlavac(sp.?) No tv last night, cable provider doesn't show 'em.The schedule is so screwed up the Stanley Cup finalists only play once during the regular season. Just saw some highlights, looked like a good game, congrats on the win. See ya in the playoffs...

Haven't noticed many comments bout the Carolina Panthers since the third week of the season, at the rate they are going they won't be able to field a team by the end of the year, they'll all be in jail...let's see, drunk driving, beating the crap out of each other in team meeting, what team spirit!!!

I was passing thru the gallery tonight and wondered if anyone has a picture of the Duane Allman memorial on Interstate 20 between Jackson and Vicksburg Mississsippi. I remember seeing it in the early/mid-70's-don't know if it's still there. Picture was published in Rolling Stone. In a road cut of red clay mud in about four foot high letters was carved "Remember Duane Allman". Haven't been down that road in many years. Just wondering if it's there or if anyone has pictures

Just an FYI on the wide pages....it has to do with really long lines without breaks in posts. Typically it's long web-addresses without line-breaks (addresses with hyphens in them break to the next line; otherwise the page just widens to accommodate the full address). The other thing that seems to cause that is when folks post a bunch of smiley-faces in a row without hitting the space bar between any of them. Not sure if some browsers are immune to this, but I'll tell you that both I.E. 5.5 and I.E. 5.0 do that. It goes away though when the "wide post" gets bumped to the next page (in which case that page becomes wide, etc.). Hope everyone had a great T'day.
