...and I was wondering if anyone had their pre-sale tickets in hand yet...I'm not too sure about offering up tickets I don't actually have in hand yet... Speaking of hands, picture a guy with his hat in hand, standing in the doorway in a hesitant way...and... ...wondering if anyone in the Asheville and Raleigh areas would be willing to host a houseguest for one night for those dTb shows...

Hello everyone! I was 'fishin' to see if anyone would happen to have any extra tix for sale for the 3/21 &/or 3/22 Beacon shows. THANKS!

Rob_in_NC, I think midnight is a good time to "bet on" for finishing up at the Beacon. Tickets have showtimes at 8:00, which on Rock 'n' Roll Standard Time is about 8:15-8:30. They typically play a total of 3 hours (1st and 2nd set), give or take, plus about a half-hour setbreak. So 11:45-ish sounds about right to me, if memory serves (which it usually doesn't). Anyone else with a less foggy memory?

Hi Everyone -- A Beacon question (my first time) -- I'm staying with a friend, who is not attending -- What is a typical Little Martha Time (end of show)? Not including after-partying, when can one expect to be "home" (1/2 hour subway) ride ... ??? Thanks y'all and hope to see you all there ! Rob

The 8/6/71 Hard To Handle is THE version. So good, Phil put it on "Fallout From the Philzone" as an aud recording, as there is no sbd from that show. The audience hooting along adds a great element also. So, when are the west coast ABB dates going to be announced???? 3 nights at the Warfield and 3 at the Wiltern in April, right???

LANA, taken from the following link http://webdev.archive.org/audio/etree-band-details.php?band=Allman%20Brothers%20Band Allman Brothers Band has the following taping and trading policy: Admin note: lanaabb contact address from their website has bounced with mailbox full. No other contact found. If you have contact info that can be used to try for band permission, pass it along to etree@archive.org. Otherwise this will remain pending forever. Policy Notes The Allman Brothers do not seem to have a formal policy posted, but their official site has a tape trading area. Also, the FAQ on their official site gives this answer to taping: "I'm in jersey and comin' to a bunch of beacon shows... I was wonderin' if i could bring my md recorder and tape the show...I know that the ABB are cool with it but i noticed that there was no specific info on taping...i have seats center on the floor. thanks, Andy You can tape from anywhere your seat is as long as you're respectful of the person next to you." (finally found this referenced on Furthurnet) in hopes of getting an official post or link for those guys over at ETREE? This would greatly help the spread of ABB tunes...something everyone on here enjoys. Thanks in advance Jason C

Gerald, thanks for the 8/6/71 Dead show! Killer version of Too Hard to Handle...first Dead song I ever heard, still one of my favorites. Nice to have something pleasant to associate with my 18th birthday...which was not the best. Maybe it would have been better if I'd listened to the Dead more often...

I was fortunate enough to be flipping channels (guys don't really do that, do they?) the other night and caught part of the Matt & Warren interview on CNN. I must say I was impressed by the interviewer. I kept waiting for him to ask something stupid, but he never did during the portion I watched. And I missed any mention of a winter tour. There's nothing on Mule's website or pollstar. Anybody have any dates????? I am REALLY bummed that I missed Chuck's interview. Would have loved to hear him discuss forestry, a topic very near and dear to my heart.
