It was great to get my call from Willie at the Cox last night who let me say hey to my new friend, Sonny. What a treat. It sounded like a good time was had by all. Enjoy the afternoon at Grant's all and have a safe trip home. Looking forward to seeing some pictures. Love is everywhere! All right.

I just saw that Elvin Bishop's new cd is titled Red Dog Speaks Don't know if any connection but pretty interesting coincidence. I hope everyone has a great time at Red Dog's event I wanted to pass on that I got to meet Warren and Matt Abts in Boston last week. My family and I were on vacation in Boston and I saw they were going to be playing at a record store and signing autographs. I was able to get in. All you needed to do was buy there new live cd, which was reasonably priced at $12.99. They played 4 songs and then signed copies of the cd for everyone. It was a really cool event and I am so glad that I was able to get to it. Mule is playing in Philly tonight. I hope everyone ejoys it who goes. I do not like the venue so stayed away but i will most likely pick it up on their website. I hope the Allmans come to the Tower this fall after Boston!!!

saw 38 special & drivin' & cryin' at chastain last night. good show but the BEST part by far was the sound guy played LAFE (!!) before the show & in between set changes--it rocked, it didn't take too much imagination to see the band on the stage! still hoping for a fox gig... also, woodstock started 41 years ago tomorrow, I slept through santana's set then & I could do it again if I had to, no problem! p&l, patrick

Woody, right on! Nobody played like Berry....incredible. I find myself listening to BO on a lot of the old bootlegs because he just rips every song.

Today is the day... Happy Throw the Dog a Bone Benefit ... for Red Dog , Joesph.. day One, truly loved and unselfish man, who loves his friends , stood beside them, and still lives by Duane Allman words... and loves him. It was a special time back then and today will be another one for the musical history books. Many people will recall their meetings with Red Dog and he will feel humbled today.. There expressions of love and care for him will be an unforgettable experience... To everyone going to show their love and support for him in this difficult time... Give him a big hug , a smile ..and have a great time making new memories... Take lots of pictures 🙂 It's all happening in Macon... If the love can heal the cancer .. WOW... what strength...

Everyone visiting the "homeland" this weekend, be safe, feel the love and spread the healing vibe. If you run into Sonnystang, give him a hug and tell him Dreams thanks him for all his help and to listen to Willie's "remarks" tonight. Rainy and I are there (you just don't SEE us!!!!). :angel2:

I was napping this afternoon and I had my I-pod on. I wake up and a monster version of Whipping Post is playing and I'm thinking "what the hell version is this, I've never heard Otiel play like that, then I realised it was Macon 72. F%^king A Berry was just unbelievable in the band of 5. I gotta tell ya, he was the best. He tore it up, maybe he new his time was short. Nobody played Lead/bass like him.
