Still looking for 2 Upper Balcony seats for 3/21. I'm in a wheelchair so I'm looking for some cheaper seats because they will just change them to orch. seats anyway. Looking to spend under a $100 dollars, please if anyone can help I would really appreciate it. Thanks, Bill T.

As posted on the Oteil and HTW GBs: Would you like some recent live Oteil and the Peacemakers? 2/15/2003, House of Blues, NO, LA, SBD recording, 2 discs. B&P only--unless you have something REALLY interesting for trade. (Two ABB discs I'd find really interesting right now are a replacement copy of 9/19/71 Stony Brook and the ATL show where Duane eggs on Berry who's not quite ready to begin the show--7/17/71?) PM me if interested--I'll leave it open for awhile. Get the funk out! Thanks, Zambi!

Happy Saturday Folks, Zambi, thanks for the transportation links. Greatly appreciate it. We always fly into JFK via JetBlue. JetBlue offers ground transportation as well for $5, can't remember how it works but I'll check it out and post here if anyone is interested. Normally we shuttle to our hotel, jammed like sardines in a van with 10 others and the bad (or good depending, you do see alot of Manhattan this way) is that the 10 others usually get dropped off first. We have yet to have anyone going further up than us past the Beacon. This had a cost of about $28.00, return was cheaper. Last November we took Carmel's limousine Service (or as Jody says, Camel's :-p) and FYI they are not limo's unless you specify limo. We had a mini van, direct to the hotel was $32 + toll + tip. Hotlantatim, read your post over on the listserv and I had chills reading Dan's 2001 Beacon post. It sure is great to be part of such a unique and very special camaraderie/family. I think each of us have had similar feelings as Dan had shared and can somehow relate to them, imagine how he felt as he was writing it....now that is what I call "Hittin' The Note". I get all choked up everytime I'm able to spend time in person with my cyberfamily and I get soooo nervous when I know I'm going to meet someone for the first time from our HTW family. It's the greatest feeling and I wouldn't trade it for the world. Thanks Lana & Rowland for making it all possible and to Tim & Dan, even though you're not here physically, your beautiful spirit is...God Bless You...All of you out there  Later, Karen

Thanks to Zambi got those transportation links. I gotta say, I've never had to pay $40 to get from LGA to Manhattan. Just this past November it cost around $25 plus tip.

wow after all this time on the listserv i think this is the first time i have posted here... RIP Dan Morris I know you and Buzzy are looking down on us all and smiling. Every time I go to the bay I know I will feel your spirits at the Warfield and the Greek. I saw you guys at both venues every time I came out, oh yeah, at the Kaiser also. At least the pic of SCI at the Greek Buzzy gave me when you guys were at my house didn't fall off the wall yesterday like it did the day Buzzy passed. Know you are loved and missed, and that we are all poorer from your absence. Stu

we must make a joyful noise in our celebrations...and celebrate the lives of loved ones who move on... openings and closings, finding and choosing comings and goings, gaining and losing... learning to fly suffering a fall finding a way to treasure it all...
