Glad to see that list of stations playing the new CD. I've yet to hear anything from the new CD on Q107 here in Toronto. I've e-mailed them already. Maybe some of my GTA Brothers and Sisters could join me in an e-mail campaign to see if we can't get some action out of them. Q107 Program Director is Jeff Woods. You can reach him at jwoods@q107.com

Morning all. First time in days I can access this site. Somehow its lost its intensity for me. Man how I wish I could pat the backs of each and every one of the men and women poised to defend our country and thank them for their courage. See you all this weekend.

Heheh, I can't prove it, but I was very amused that in the original version of the post that precedes this one, Lana called the album "Hittin' the Web." Three times. 🙂 🙂 🙂 Glad to see Q104 and FUV are playing it in my area... of course, it won't matter much since I'll own the CD by the time I get home. In fact, I'll own it in a matter of hours. Wahoo!

Hey Folks,...Haven't been able to get to the site in 24 hours, man, that's a long time. Only had a chance to read a few posts, but it's very exciting. Well, this Irishman got lucky today with receiving the new ABB Hittin' The Note, and the brand new Poco cd called Running Horse. Listening to Desdemona right now, very sweet. I really love this tune as well as Old Before My Time, and Heart Of Stone. I wonder if the Stones have heard this version yet. Anyway, I hope all are well. I missed this place. Peace,...Neil

Just solid jorneyman ABB. Good and loud, puntuated by building, soaring solo's and the FREIGHT TRAIN, that is the rhythm section barrelling down the center of the stage!"

I just got back from the Beacon! I stopped in to Fairway, and bought and ate a Peach for Peace! I had a 2nd row seat, all the way at the end, in front of the speakers, on Otiel's side of the stage. Lucky me, I had great ear plugs. The sound was the best I've ever heard. You could hear every musician's part - the keyboards, the rhythm guitar, each of the drummers, and even all of Gregg's vocals, and the lyrics too! They opened with Don't Keep Me Wonderin', then Hot 'Lanta. I lost track, but the first set ended with Statesboro Blues. The 2nd set ended with "Patchwork Quilt">"Instrumental Illness". The encore was "One Way Out." The best song of the night for me was "44", or whatever the correct title is. Other songs played: Stand Back, Every Hungry Woman, the new Wasted Words, with Gregg on organ, End Of The Line, Maydell, Firing Line, Done Somebody Wrong, Midnight Rider, No One To Run With Anymore, Worried Down With The Blues... I can't think of any more songs, but there may be some. The drummers should really get a lot more credit than they do - I think even I would sound good with them behind me. I now have seen Gregg Allman in the 70's, 80's, 90's and 00's - 4 Decades! I have never seen him smile before (I've also never been in the 2nd row before), but he smiled a whole lot, especially at Derek. Someone should tell Otiel that he's the bass player, not a lead guitarist. He also plays in his bare feet. Gregg wore glasses occasionally. Jaimo sat at the foot of the stage during the intermission and threw t-shirts into the crowd. Warren has a guitar tech that looks a lot like him. Who were all those people sitting on stage? I was hoping to hear Layla, but too bad, they didn't play it. That's it from the Upper West Side!

Only one night until I own Hittin' the Note... about 11 hours until the store opens. Although I'm not sure I'll be able to sleep anyway, for various reasons. Anybody home with a setlist yet? Methinks people may be carousing too much on St. Pat's Day. 😉
