Warren frequently plays that Nobody Knows solo (riff) during Whipping Post these days. He also almost goes to the same place on his solo on Instrumental Illness, on the new record. Personally, I think that distracts from the individual identity of each song. Maybe I'm knitpicking a little too much, but I would like to hear each one of those songs take on it's own unique identity. Any Beacon recordings floating around yet???

For anyone in the Indianapolis area, WTTS 92.3 FM, Bloomington/Indianapolis has a "cage match" each night around 7:45 Eastern. They play 2 songs, current champ vs a new challenger. Winner for the 2nd night in a row was the ABB, Firing Line. Let's push them to the cage match Hall of Fame (10 straight wins). Call in around 8:00 at 1-800-923-9887 to cast your vote. Wish I was at the Beacon!!!

have a great time! was there on the 17th & 18th. come & go blues last year, wasted words this year, hoping for can't lose what you never had next year. make sure you go to the stage exit on 75th street after the show. the band comes out one at a time and sign autographs, shake hands and even take some photos.

Two more Beacon debuts last night! Lets welcome Heart of Stone and Stormy Monday to the party. So that is 50 different tunes played in 6 shows at the Beacon. Sounds like a certain band of Brothers from Macon, GA are having a ball in the Big Apple. Stormy Monday>Whipping Post>Mountain Jam= Good Lawd! That is the way to end a show! Enjoy the weekend and the shows. It is a beautiful morning in Hot 'Lanta, first time I have seen the sun in 5 days. It is amazing how a little sunshine will make you feel right. Take care, Ryan
