As for the Led Zep cost issue. I guess it all comes down to how big a "fan" you are or were.
While I was a Led Zep fan some years ago, it was never on the level that I was an ABB fan.
If these had been an ABB DVD and CD release we were talking about, I'd pay that price gladly.

2 days in Germany, 2 in Switzerland, 2 in Italy ( if they can get me out of Switzerland) and back to Germany for 2 more days. Then back to Hotlanta, Thinking of Goliath and Zambi and Ryan B. Back to Mobile,

I can't understand anyone complaining about the price of the new Zep dvd. I paid $23.00, and am more than happy with my 5 1/2 hrs. of music. I was a Zep fan years ago, and this has renewed my interest. I knew there had to be better live performances than The Song Remains The Same, which was one of the weakest spots in the bands history. As a matter of fact I believe the list price for that was $24.99 when released on VHS in the early 90's. If you want to complain about the music industry, lets start with concert ticket prices.
I got the new Led Zeppelin 3 CD set for $12.99 at Best Buy here in Savannah, Ga and the 2 DVD set for $18.99 at Media Play. I've listened to the CDs and watched the DVDs and they are well worth the price. Even if I had had to pay what the people that are complaining about the prices did,I'd say they are worth the cost. If you like Led Zeppelin I recommend that you go out and buy and enjoy both.
For the one's complaining about the price of the Zeppelin cd,I picked up a copy for sixteen bucks.Worth it.Can't speak for the dvd as I don't have a player.

John,...I was just at a Borders Bookstore to see if a Poco cd I ordered was in, and noticed that Led Zepplin DVD & CD. The DVD was on sale for $24.99 & the CD's were on sale for $19.99. What a rip off up there huh? Picked up the new Relix Magazine too. What a great cover photo.

Just an FYI for those who may require more tunes after Toronto show.
Just out of curiousity I thought I would see how much $32.00 US (including taxes even) worked out to in Canadian bucks.
It is just short of $44.00.
Man, if I was unsure of parting with over $32.00 Can. (plus taxes) each for the Led Zep DVD and CD I'm dead set against it now.
I know my Scottish heritage dictates that I'm cheap by nature, but there is a difference between being cheap and being gouged.

Just back from a little trip to the Mall where I checked out three of the four Music Retailers.
Got to hand it to us greedy Canuckleheads.
Not one of the stores was offerring the new Led Zep in any kind of package. I thought that would be a natural combination!
I mentioned this to the people behind the counter in two of the stores and they looked at me like I was some kind of person who might believe the Maple Leafs would win the Stanley Cup in their lifetime.
And the price.......cheapest I saw the DVD for was $32.99 and the CD was around the same price (canadian $$$$).
As much as I'd like to pick these both up, I'm going to have to think long and hard about parting with that kind of cash.
