Clear Channel has joined forces with the Allman Brothers Band to roll out its ''Instant Live'' CD program in two North Carolina amphitheaters starting this weekend: Saturday in Charlotte and Sunday in Raleigh. For these dates, Clear Channel expects to use 27 CD burners, each of which can turn out eight copies in 3 1/2 minutes. Proceeds from sales of the instant CDs -- expected to be a three-CD set that will cost at least $20 -- will be split equally between the band and Clear Channel. Have fun in Chicago tonight all you crazy peach heads. I'll be looking forward to Montage like many of you. Thanks TerriB! Oh yeah, somebody get a message to the band. One small request...we need Dreams and Desdemona back to the 2 guitar solo format. Both of these need to be S-T-R-E-T-C-H-E-D out to the fullest! You could tell 'em I said so. :-p Of course I think Midnight Rider should be played for 10 minutes.:guitarist: I like Improv. Have a real good time! Eddie

Maybe Gregg looking at a picture of Duane, a shot of Kirk on the poarch of the Big House, the Fillmore before and after it was razed, a mushroom. Gregg should have total control of content, of course.

I like the idea of a video, been thinkin' of it too. I picture it at Gregg and Stacy's place, You're outside in the yard lookin in a large open window, or open French doors, he's sittin at his organ, late afternoon sun-rays on him like stagelights, you know, filtered through them Southern Live Oaks, with the Spanish Moss swayin' in the breeze, maybe some scenes fadin in and out from back in the day, yea I think it would be nice. MikeM367, that was EXACTLY my thought first time I listened to HTN. This is a cold-dead #1 country hit. Lots of room to work with video concepts too. John, I have indeed learned to appreciate adequate supervision. Congrats on your new therapy, Bro.

I have an idea for the band and since I know Rowland and Lana usually checkout the guestbook, I'll post it here and see what they think. I think that they should do a video for the song "Old before my time" and service it to CMT. It worked for Kid Rock and now the Eagles have a video on CMT. A great video with a life-long retrospect would work wonders for the band. It is an awesome song and I'm sure the country fans would accept it. It would generate more cd sales. Kid Rock's song "picture" was played on country radio and the video was on CMT. The brothers song is ten times better than that song. So, Rowland and Lana, if your listening, what do you think?

To all the Chi-Town GBers.... Have one at Berghoffs for me!! I'll look at the pictures from last year and pretend I'm there! The Chicago Theatre is one of the prettiest places to be treated to the ABB. Now, remember...NO SMOKING. Lee....you know where to get breakfast this year. Have fun, y'all!

Good Afternoon All, The countdown to the Chicago Theatre is on! Does anyone know if there will be any additional guests playing with the band tonight and tomorrow (besides the guys from Karl Denson's Tiny Universe)? We got Larry McCray last year. Only seven hours left!

If anyone is still looking for tickets to tonight's show at Chicago Theater, I have four excellent seats in a private booth, dead center stage. I over bought this year, hate to see them waisted.

Interesting I can't afford not to use jewel cases I have so many lol. Built bookshelfs just to hold the allman brothers stuff 8 foot long 4 of them almost full LOL. Without them I would never be able to find a show and the artwork!!! I wish I could make artwork like skip and clay but nobody will show me, tell me what software or send a sample on CD or email sigh!!! Have a great one. Fresh back from vacation and the Pennsylvania 500 now out of gas.

LinnieXX, UM! Plastic sleeves are stacked all over the apartment. I am always finding the jewel cases broken. What about stainless steel cases or ANVIL cases? Charlie
