well, i slept through the whole thing. must have been paying the High Cost of Low Living that i've been doing lately. fortunately for me a friend taped it so i'll get to see it soon enough. (thanks Jackie!) it does sound like our boys had a great time! no incidents where reported on MSN this morning so i'm assuming that there where no altercations with Mr. Leno. Bummer.

😀 Sounds like our left coast bruddas had a great time last night. I fell asleep at 12:10 and woke up at 12:30...just in time to catch the band...I thought they looked and sounded great!

GREAT to see the Brothers on Leno! I watched the tape this morning. It was interesting seeing how they tweaked the arrangement of High Cost to fit the time slot. Man, I wanted it to go on longer! :guitarist: It was played a *little* fast, though--Gregg could hardly get some of those beautiful words out! 😀 I didn't see any streaking or rushing of the stage by three tie-dyed, crazed guys, though... :boomerang:

Hey everyone, I know there's good number of shows for you left coasters yet, but can't help but look forward to the Beacon next year. Does anyone know any probably dates yet? I'd appreciate it if someone would let me know how much tickets cost this March for good seats and the balcony seats. I already have Beacon fever!!! Thanks everyone, loved the High Cost tonight... Oteil is the man... -Will

woooooooohoooooooo High Cost..........my, my, my....i agree the boys did us proud tonight. Gregg sounded great, Warren in jeans, and sweet Derek, loved when they zoomed in on his solo. The band was totally hot. This is the first time I have seen them since last Sept...what a treat for me. I am sure I heard Brent yelling LOL

need to send a big thank you to Michael for montage and dino for the shows. thoughts and prayers to cowboy neil and brofan. without stating the title- the brothers played great. my first time at the tonight show and I have to say that they were really dialed in. Fortunately there was a recording problem in the first take so the bros had to play it a second time. Brent and dino thought the seond take was much better. I thought gregg's voice and warrens solo were better in the first take. Kevin and the tonight show band werte really watching the screen. The outtro was witht hte first take so all the guests and the band left before the second take. Kevin stayed and sat on the stage just watching. I truly believed he dug it. He gave a big hug to oteil and marc. I totally wanted to be upfront but we had excellent dead center see everything seats. saw a guy shake butchs hand and wished it could have been us. made brent and dino walk around the studio in an attempt to get the BEACON poster signed. struck out but called lana and got a big smile. really wish we got stuff signed but I have 4 more chances. No KW sightings but Burt was there. The producer ran over to Burt to break the news and when they asked gregg he said something like hell yah. Band was in great spirits. first time I've seen warren in jeans. butch and derek hung out before their show watching jamie kennedy from out front. butch hung out afterward but we were just too high. brent and dino are a great bunch to travel with....... one down four to go---scotty

Rob you kick ass. You are probably my favorite artist in the glass medium. Who is Dale Chiluly (sp?)? You've got him covered in spades. I listen to the Charlotte Instant Live esp Mountain Jam look at my glass shrooms and think about the great music and cool people I met this year and last at Ron E.s. I work practically all the time and the rest I play husband and daddy. I get to get away maybe twice (if I'm lucky) a year on usually an ABB related quest. The good times I have during those "trips" literally carry me over the BS I seem to have to endure the rest of the year. God bless the all y'all and the ABB. Neil and Brofan my thoughts and prayers are with you. Peace.

Hi Everyone   Doing the headphone thing with the Charlotte and Raleigh "instant live" discs. Absolutely wonderful work, guys. Patchwork Quilt is particularly moving -- Thanks Warren, it's a beautiful piece. Still can't get through the shows with a dry eye. They so 'hit the note' on the new material, and the interpretations of Into the Mystic, Afro Blue (let me just die with this song playing), freakin' what else?! It's all SO good. I'd review the friggin' shows but frankly I've not come to terms with 'em yet. Too damn hot, man. It was some weekend. (Anyone else havin' flashbacks listening to these discs?) Thanks to The Allman Brothers !! Thanks to Branford Marsalis, Karl Denson and the Universe, Vaylor Trucks, Susan Trucks -- All you cats KICKED ASS. -- Play All Night
