Okay, so I was psyched about the Beacon DVD coming out on the 23rd, and that gives me a week to shore up supplies, contact buddies, and generally freak out about seeing the ABB, and reliving last March. And now Bird has reservations already. Now I am really freaking. I can't wait to say hi to you, bro. Six months, and counting.

Bluefox, I am counting the minutes as well. I would listen to MJ on the flight up from AZ, but the flight's just not long enough!!! 😛 I am just buzzing with excitement. For those of you I haven't told, I am seeing the brothers in Tucson on Wednesday night and am sitting third row center. Best seats I've ever had for a show and am salivating thinking about being able to watch Derek and Warren up close. Then I get to jet off to RED ROCKS!!!! Does life get any better than this?????

Nice review of the Salt Lake show a few posts back from Big Dave...although I almost went blind reading it...:nono::nono::nono: It doesn't look like its been mentioned yet but The Brothers opened with Mountain Jam last night at the Telluride Blues and Brews fest. That would be only the third time I believe in history that they opened with that most joyous of jammy tunes! Way to go ABB! see ya

I just read in the Denver post article that the live DVD will be released next week, is it true?? The two-DVD "Beacon" project captures this year's run of shows at the New York venue. Set for release on Sept. 23, it features more than three hours of live footage culled from two performances, plus interviews and photos.

Marley, no, actually since it would be a two hour version of Mountain Jam Gregg would sing the lyrics of the song thereby making it a "first time" version.
