Christmas Jam CD thread on the Forum: http://www.allmanbrothersband.com/modules.php?op=modload&name=XForum&file=viewthread&tid=6670 According to the Barnes and Noble website, it was indeed pushed back to November 4th. It also looks like Sanctuary has picked it up, instead of Evil Teen Records....who seemed to me to be the cause of all the delays. Hopefully with Sanctuary now involved it will indeed be released on 11/4. http://music.barnesandnoble.com/search/product.asp?userid=2 VOV7ASCDJ&ean=60768465923

PPS Thanks Pammie for the verse from Charlotte's Web. Man I loved that book and have been thinking about it alot here lately with Fall here in the Carolinas. Writin' Spiders, at least that's what we call 'em down here, are everywhere. You can't go anywhere without seeing a web or runnning into one if you are still mowing the grass. Lol! I never kill them though. They seem to me to be truely God's creatures. However Black Widows, Wolf Spiders and Jumpin' Spiders are a different story. Peace and may God bless y'all.

Good morning y'all! Hope all is well. I like to touch base on a few things. First off thanks Jason for the shot of Derek's amp and to Drew for pointing out the settings. For those who care here are some others: Dickey Betts-Treble 2/3 Mid-1/3 Bass1/3 Jack Pearson-Treble-1/4 Mid-1/2+ Bass-1/4 To go along with: Derek Trucks-V-10 T-8 M-5 B-1 Don'tcha just love guitar freaks? Anyway Tommy Booth we missed you at the Jam. All the talk during the DTB show and before the Jam was when is Tommy going to make it? I believe that pretty much is a testament to what Brent and others think of your playing. Get well brother and check you later. Man I'm starting to miss the Jam as well. I had such a good time. Libby (where ever you are) I was clearly enjoying the trip. And now I've passed that destination I kind of want to go back. You need to help me with your theory or life strategy or whatever you call it. Lol! One bummer about the Jam folks. It was there I was informed by Goliath that Shawn Lane had passed away. For those of you who don't know Shawn Lane is a legend in guitar circles. Most notably for his work with Jonas Helborg I suppose in the fusion sort of realm. A phenomenal player from Memphis who at 14 toured with Black Oak Arkansas. Some of Shawn's more worthy recordings are Centrifical Funk, Highwaymen II, Son of the South-Toy Caldwell, Powers of Ten and my favorite Time Is The Enemy Helborg-Lane-Sipe. He was a truely incredible player for those guitar freaks here on the GB who are unfamiliar with him, You'd do well to check him out. Anyway my .02 for the day. God bless you all. Peace! PS Easy Mike we missed you at the Jam as well although Brent's bassist Frank turned in a fine job.

How very special are we For just a moment to be Part of life’s eternal rhyme How very special are we To have on our family tree Mother earth and father time He turns the seasons around And so she changes her gown But they always look in their prime They go on dancing their dance Of everlasting romance Mother earth and father time The summer larks return to sing Oh, what a gift they give Then autumn days grow short and cold Oh, what a joy to live How very special are we For just a moment to be Part of life’s eternal rhyme How very special are we To have on our family tree Mother earth and father time The autumn days grow short and cold It’s Christmas time again The snows of winter slowly melt The days are short, and then >>>>>>(it's almost time for Beacon) He turns the season around And so she changes her gown Mother earth and Father time How very special are we For just a moment to be Part of life’s eternal rhyme Charlotte A.
