:birthday:...Mr Peachnutt!!! Have a great one Gary! Enjoy and Party!!! Thanks so much to Randall for The completely awesome 5 disc ABB blues collection he put together with the help of a few other kind folks from this great family of ours! This compilation is really well done and covers the entire history of The Allman Brothers Band from a blues perspective. Get yourself one, you'll dig it too!!! Thank You Randall!!! Also want to thank MR GPM a.k.a. Gerald for the wonderful Christmas card from him and Debbie. It was a very nice holiday gift from a true Brother. Hope to see ya soon Buddy! I really want to hear "Can't Lose What You Never Had" at this years Beacon run. Just listened to a fine version from the Randall blues set...Man, I like that tune! Oh, and as far as The ABB and Skynyrd on a double bill...forget it! Absolutely positively hate the idea! Bad match, bad fit, bad idea! There are WAY better bands out there than a Southern Rock Re-tread. Skinnerd Yuck!!! How about a 3 hour "An Evening With..." Seriously, Karl Denson did an incredible job last year...Somebody like "Karl Densons Tiny Universe" or "Galactic" are welcome anytime in my book! :smokinsmiley::uhoh::smokinsmiley::uhoh::smokinsmiley::uhoh::smokinsmiley::rolleyes::naughty::rolleyes::smokinsmiley::naughty::rolleyes: Happy Holidaze Folks...

Fortunately, rock radio as a news outlet ranks lags only slightly behind the Weekly World News. :-p

Just heard today at 3:45 PM on Rock 92 in Greensboro, that Lynyrd Skynyrd has confirmed dates with the Allman Brothers Band. Went to Skynyrd's website, and no 04 dates are posted. PS, Happy Birthday, Marley's Dad, and many more to you!!! PSS Charlestinator, Yep, you're right, I'll be there. Would go see the Allman Brothers Band no matter who was with them.

Boy, it'd be nice to hear Layla and High Falls at Darien this year. I'd like to see Galactic open for abb, then again, they really don't need an opening act 😉 ~~Happy Bday to everyone born TODAY!!~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ "The Road Goes On Forever."
