BLD -- Shoot for Japanese-made Fujis. You need to ascertain whether the person burning for you is using a computer burner or a stand-alone/stereo-component burner. If the latter, you need to pick up discs marked "audio" or "music," which are a wee-bit more expensive. If a computer burner, the cheaper data discs are fine and just as good.

What, no ABB / Skynyrd twin bill? YAY!!!! :clapping:I knew we'd get some good news today! This whole idea was just a really bad dream...whew!:boomerang:I'm sure Foreigner would be a nice band for them to tour with...with those clean white sneakers and all. Yeah, "Why Does Love Got To Be So Sad" of course would be tailor made for The Brothers...Warren on vocals would be nice on that one I think. Its always cool speculating on what might make a come back this year and what covers are a possibility. Makes for thoughtful discussion. "Loan Me A Dime" yeah nice! Kind of Bird, even better!... I have this weird idea about Gregg singing "Moonlight Mile" by the Stones...and there is a ton of Dylan that I'm sure Gregg could get into. Mr Garcia always did well with the Dylan catalog even in his solo band. On the Jazz side..."Better Get Hit In Yo' Soul" by Charles Mingus has a nice Jazzy ring to it.... Peace :winky::winky::winky::winky:

Ya know sometimes the commercialism of the holidays gets me down, the stress of shopping for the right gift, thinking the holidays should be one way and they end up another. But then you get a card from someone you know only from exchanging shows, but they make a donation to The Make A Wish foundation in your name and you realize there are people who actually get what the holidays should be about! It lifted my spirits! So my wife and I are gonna give the "Right" gift and wrote checks to a couple of local charities and gave to those who truly need something for the Holidays more than we do. Johnny you are Santa brudda, in the truest form, Happy Holidays to you and yours and to everyone I never met

Suprise songs - Dust off Nobody Knows, Pegasus. I'd like to hear Gregg do Rain and God rest his Soul. One of my all time favorites Mountain Dew. I'd love to see them do an amped up version of the Jeff Beck song Going Down ala SRV.

Hey there sweet family, Jack, Mo's been offered a job within the Canes organization but hasn't accepted or declined it yet. Our season tix are by the player's bench (4th row, 3 & 4th seats from the aisle), but I usually don't wear a jersey ... I'm holding out for my Arturs Irbe Johnstown Chiefs one to arrive. Then I'll wear that all the time! 😉 Take care and know that you are loved, Lana

Is this the latest the Beacon dates have been announced in recent years? This is becoming a mild form of torture. I'm still throwing out Freeway Jam by Jeff Beck as a great ABB surprise. I'd really like to hear True Gravity dusted off as well.

Thank you Lana for putting that rumor to rest - Back in the 70's I was a big fan of L.S. I would actually get them confused with A.B.B. - I was very young - lol - especially with the tune One Way Out. Ronnie was an excellent song writer, but today's version just doesn't cut it for me. Oh I was mistaken in a prior post - Warren's encore of Simple Man was a later Mule show in October - not the 17, the 22 or 24 and it was excellent! Now how about my rumor - lol - Warren - an acoustic set - as the opening act. Just put it on my wish list along with the winning lotto ticket.

Lana, too bad about Paul Maurice getting gassed by the Canes. But the old saying is coaches are hired to be fired, hope he lands on his feet somewhere. BTW,do you wear a white home jersey and sit near Canes bench? Thought I saw you on a televised Leafs/Canes tilt a while back. SDPB,good call on Out On The Open Road. One of my fav Duane tunes,he really lets er rip on that one.

Morning Dew Gregg vocal Mr Fantasy Warren vocal Going Down Slow Gregg vocal Still Alive and Well Warren vocal and I would pay a million bucks to hear a Gregg / Warren both on vocals with Marc and Otiell helping on back up...... sounds weird but Duane thought it was a good idea to suggest to Wilson Pickett.... would be a shocker to hear, but it would bring a smile to many...... "Hey Jude"..... TS, I put in all songs off my favorite song list......... wheee

Happy Birthday Peachnut. Enjoy the banter and your views. I would love to hear "Loan me a Dime" or a full-on "Out on the Open Road" (Delaney&Bonnie) done by the 'Bros. Or, going back to the Clapton/Duane era, "Tell the Truth" would rip. I remember going to shows in the 70's with a line up of: Charlie Daniels, Wet Willie, Marshall Tucker, Lynyrd Skynrd, and The Allman Bros. Thes shows rocked and were absolutely some of the best music I ever heard. I think putting together some of the shows from those days would be great. The magic of southern boys jammin' will always be over the top. The chemistry of the music would be refreshing. Hope all of you have a safe and wonderful holiday season. Jammin' for Duane. spdb
