A sad day for the Mushroom Nation. Peach flags at half mast... Strength and comfort to Jim, Connor, and Whittings all. Is it okay to quote Scripture here? I hope so, 'cause I'm going to. I would like to think that these words apply to all, regardless of creed. Apologies to those that might take offense. "Be strong and courageous; do not be frightened or dismayed, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go." --Joshua 1:9

Hey GB!! Thanks for the set list Tom. I saw that the other day about Warren becoming a full time member of the Dead. I have a very hard time believing that one because the Dead and the ABB usually will be touring at the same time. Warren is good but that would be mystifying.LOL!!!!

Jean, I have seen Captain Soularcat a handful of times, they play around Atlanta quite a bit, and have enjoyed every time. They are a young band and are definitely worth checking out for a $5 dollar cover and a night out. Their guitarist, I believe Benji Shanks is his name, is quite good. He can get the Derek Trucks thing going from time to time. They do cover some Allman tunes; Don't Keep Me Wonderin’, Liz Reed, Standback to name a few. I like their take on Liz Reed, I think it sounds like what the DTB's take on the tune would be. Hope this helps, also curious as what Goliath had to say, judging by your response it wasn't anything too superlative. Oh well I enjoy them when I see them. Take care, Ryan

Thanks Tom - Yes this past October in Philly I could swear during the second set Warren was dancing with his guitar - of course directly in front of me, Jacquie, Linnie and Terri! What is the rumor please!
