HAPPY NEW YEAR to all you fine folks - hope 2004 is a great one for all of you and I look forward to meeting some of you on my first ever Beacon excursion this year.
Here's to a Happy News Year for all. 2003 wasn't the best of years for me, but hopefully 2004 will be better. Anyway, all take care.

Happy and healthy New Year to All....Peace
Happy New Year!
Happy New Year Friends.
I have nothing but HIGH hopes for 2004...... I hope a dead dragon in my sites and Beacon music in my ears and a bunch of fun with friends. Good health and life for family and safety on my piece of mother earth. That would do it fine. Money and toys, hell with all that.
Happy New Year Everyone!!!
Peace,...Neil
Happy New Year to all brothers and sisters. Thirty three years ago tonight, a lifetime, I last saw Duane in action at a Warehouse in New Orleans, a tradition, now just a memory. Peace be with everyone.
:fanfare: HAPPY NEW YEAR!:fanfare:
Everyone has a safe night out there tonight no matter what you are doing to ring in the New Year! Please don't drink and drive or let anyone else do it.
I got to see my first show at the Beacon last night. What an incredible place! Awesome first set last night highlighted by Maceo joining in on sax for the last three songs. Dreams I can remember and Low Spark were the highlights for me and It Hurts Me Too, which is one of my favorite blues songs. I am not familiar with Otis Redding's version of Dreams I can remember, I know that song from Delbert McClinton.
Also dug She's So Heavy.
What a great experience. Got home at 4am, but it was well worth it.
This year I experienced some difficult things I had never been through before, but this great music helped me get through it. Hittin' the Note came out at just the right time for me!
Speaking of Hittin' the Note, has anyone received the new copy of Hittin' the Note magazine yet?
Wow, what a year! The highest highs, the lowest lows. Buried a lifelong friend lost to lung cancer. Got another friend who's about to do hard time due to 6 DUI's during the year. He couldn't handle divorce. And I managed to destroy the relationship with the most important person of my lifetime.
But the highs--the unbelievabble Beacon weekend. A true Peachhead Disney world.
The GABBA weekend, always renews my soul.
Our incredible dTb/JFD weekend, exceeding all expectations.
Through it all, this family was always here, through the good times and the bad times. Probably kept me in the game.
In the late '60's some friends formed a garage band that gained some notetiety in the Southeast. They competed with the Allman Joys (later Hourglass) and the Swinging Medallions for preeminence on the frat circuit. They put out 14 records, Duane played on 3 of them. You might want to check out www.thebleus.com.
Tonight they are reuniting with a big show at the same venue this year's Jam for Duane was heald. I'm taking the widow of the original drummer and their adult kids. Some of y'all have met Mary Jane at Appleby's.
Anyway, thanks to Lana and Rowland and Duane for the Big House here. See Y'all next year. Hope it's a great one for all of us. EAPFP
Happy New Year to thee and thine!!

Pam, I'm remembering one year ago tonight when we met for the first time in NYC...I'll put on my streamer garland when aiq and I have our midnight champagne toast! All the best to you and Abi in the year ahead.
Thanks for all the music and friendship I've found here over the past 18 months...my life is forever changed, for the better. If I may steal a line: "Ya'll a great bunch!"
Wishing everyone a safe and great New Year :reddancer:
Has anyone else noticed the similarities between SRV's Stang's Swang and Instrumental Illness ?
Warren smoked last night. I dont have the set list but Badlittledoggie hit some of them. I was also in the loge row "C" I heard the guy behind you Doggie! One highlight for me was Otis Redding's "Dreams I can Remember" with Maceo Parker... excellent! Sco-mule with with Maceo was great. I was into Otis when he was still here, Warren took me back some last night...Thanks Warren!
Puking Louts !! Woodyca just named my new band !! Happy New Year everyone ... even you stoners in the back of the class !
