happy b-day bad little doggie. Just heard the mule is playing when I'm supposed to be tied up. Brent is pushing hard..... who knows maybe my stars will change. Also super annoyed at no derek show in LA or long beach.... anyone have an in to musicians institute... Finally, a reminder that the Left Coast Crew and the Big Men are throwing a little get together on March 20th. If you get a chance please send a PM so we can get the food/beer kind of right. peace--scotty

Does anyone know if Gregg's Kurzweil piano has hammer-like action {e.g. weighted keys} like an acoustic piano? I really need to know because I am trying to find one.

I'm going to the Jammys and hoping to see some nice "Inter League Play" as I like to call it. Perhaps Dickey with the Mule, which effectively was Dickey's band, and would also love to see Steve Winwood with the Mule too. And hey what the hell, Flavor Flav and Slick Rick with Dickey and teh Derek Trucks Band would be cool too!! I guess I shouldn't hold my breath huh?

Hey deb in Denver, Wasn't that a great show Derek and his band put on last night? It was even greater meeting you and Gary. A GB moment: Deb told me Gary had Gregg's hair and beard and so I got there first and got a lower balconey seat overlooking everything and kept my eyes open. After a few false starts Gregg's hair/beard walks in the room with a woman at his side looking around, and I immediately started pointing and deb pointed back and they came up to sit with us. We had never met but spotted each other in a crowd. Deb and Gary had been to most of the same concerts we had over the last few years. And we all had a blast! Derek gets better every time I see him.

My husband and I saw DTB last night at a great little venue called the Gothic Theatre in Denver. It was a pre - Beacon event and we met Smiling Jack and his lovely wife Phyllis. The music was great and now I'm ready for my first Beacon visit ever Monday March 22nd. I hope to see some of you there.
