Hey Jeanne...I was flippin' through the channels on the tube this morning and there was an episode of Happy Days on with the older brother Chuck. What the heck ever happened to ol' Chuck...he just disappeared...they didn't even write him off...just plum vanished into thin air...sheesh... I guess the Cat Stevens radio ban has slowly eased off...I've been hearing him more often also...

Ladybird.... sending you back to sunny countrysides! keep smilin! "Clocks and spoons and empty rooms It's raining out tonight What a way to end a day By turnin' out the light Shoot the moon right between the eyes I'm sending... most of me to sunny country side Runnin' through sky of blue rollin' in the sun Every day has a way of overflowing one Shoot the moon right between the eyes I'm keeping... most of me in sunny country side Don't know how I did that now wonder where it's gone Must have spent the way I went waitin' for the dawn Shoot the moon right between the eyes I'm screaming... Take me back to sunny country side" J.Prine

Hi Lammie! Happened to hear that ol' Cat on the radio this morning. Been humming that tune all morning! Bout to change, though, as I pop in some DTB. 9-14-02. Ah, the first time I heard Mike Mattison sing and immediately fell in love with his sound! Whew....I can't wait to see you at the Sweetie's party next week. What's this I hear you're coming as Aquaman and Linnie as Wonder Woman? This is gonna be good!!

I'll add to Cowboy Neil's vubes ๐Ÿ˜‰ being sent to ladybird. It's a new day... Morning has broken, like the first morning Blackbird has spoken, like the first bird Praise for the singing, praise for the morning Praise for them springing fresh from the world Sweet the rainโ€™s new fall, sunlit from heaven Like the first dewfall, on the first grass Praise for the sweetness of the wet garden Sprung in completeness where his feet pass Mine is the sunlight, mine is the morning Born of the one light, eden saw play Praise with elation, praise every morning Godโ€™s recreation of the new day Hmmm...feelin' like Stormy today! ๐Ÿ˜ฎ

Just took a peek at Christian. What a cutie-pie. Spring, new life, March in NYC....makes ya feel GOOD! The Seedling AS a quiet little seedling Lay within its darksome bed, To itself it fell a-talking, And this is what it said: "I am not so very robust, But I'll do the best I can;" And the seedling from that moment Its work of life began. So it pushed a little leaflet Up into the light of day, To examine the surroundings And show the rest the way. The leaflet liked the prospect, So it called its brother, Stem; Then two other leaflets heard it, And quickly followed them. To be sure, the haste and hurry Made the seedling sweat and pant; But almost before it knew it It found itself a plant. The sunshine poured upon it, And the clouds they gave a shower; And the little plant kept growing Till it found itself a flower. Little folks, be like the seedling, Always do the best you can; Every child must share life's labor Just as well as every man. And the sun and showers will help you Through the lonesome, struggling hours, Till you raise to light and beauty Virtue's fair, unfading flowers. Paul Laurence Dunbar :flower:

Lamdog- I often wonder that same thing. You know with all the spiderman remakes, incredible hulk, superman and 18 versions of batman, Aqua-man is getting the shaft! When is he going to get his movie? I mean they've made two Scooby-Doo movies before even considering ONE aqua-man movie! Easily the most under-rated superhero and with out a doubt the most over-due for just a little recognition! Oh, I'd ask Oteil if he would consider playing nothing but that 1964 (I think) Fender jazz bass? The man lays down a SERIOUS groove w/ that peice of musical hardware in his hands. Man, seems like I have something going on next week, I'm just not sure what that could be? hmmmmm......

I covered up my face with my ABB T-shirt and up walked the gobbler to the corn. He was about 25 yards from me. He ate for a few mintues and split. Never did hear him gobble. :pmusic: :pmusic: :pmusic: Special Thanks to all for the music the last few weeks. Everyone have a geat weekend. Another pretty day in L> A. Light

I would ask if he knows what the deal with aqua-man is. Can he go on land or does he have to always stay in water...

I guess I would ask Oteil if he ever wants to sing a song, with ABB or with The Peacemakers. His voice is certainly very good. Mitch
