sounds like Brofan is gonna be partying tonight:beer:
Time to thank a brother who shall remain nameless for the incredible Duane package he sent...
Also thanks to Wayne and Lammie for the tunes. Wonderfully generous and kind souls here...
Hide the eggs!
Mention of ABB history in today's New York Times feature on Macon.

Brofan,
Have fun with Doug. I hope to see his band before I get too old.
Doug helped me with the Rockford tickets and I was able through a friend to get Doug tickets for Appleton.
Have a great weekend, charlie
Good morning to all!!
Rich...while you're with Doug tonight start making plans to head east fot the NuttHutt Jam this summer...ya hear! 🙂
I finally got those Beacon 04 picture discs into snailmail yesterday. If you asked for one, and it doesn't arrive soon, PM me and let me know. Thanks to all for being patient.
Can't believe it going to be a year til the next one. This summer, I promised myself I would go to more live shows, and I will. I do wish ABB would find another venue other than Jones Beach for a summer show, since the sound really sucks there. I might just go anyway, but the experience does not come close to Beacon. That's aside from the pre and post show parties!

Good morning, Southpaw!
You always greet everyone in the AM.
Charlie, won't be making the Rundgren show-have a great time.
Tonight I will be heading west to Madtown where your buddy Doug L. (Lkrdg) has invited me to hang out for his band Black Rose's rehearsal. I heard you hooked him up for the Rockford show. Well done. Way to help a brother out.
Brofan,
Are you going to see Todd Rundgren tomorrow night at the HOB in Chicago?
My favorite drummer Prairie Prince is playing with Todd on this tour. He just completed the Jefferson Starship UK tour. Kantner not Mickey Thomas.
Easy Michael, One of my favorite bass players is playing with Todd. The Great KASIM SULTUN. Have you seen him? He plays and sings really well.
Hope to see some of you Saturday. Charlie
hey gang good morning:cool:
Marley, you crack me up!

Good mornin' sweet family,
I've just updated tour dates on the home page with as much opening act and co-bill information as we have at this point. Artist names are links to their web sites.
Take care and know that you are informed ... and loved,
Lana
A big thank you to bluesguy who hooked me up with 3/20, oh yeah!

"I would love to see EC with Warren, but I don't think EC would get on the same stage with him."
Amen, brother!
Hey!
I'm trying to get my Cleveland presale tickets through this site and it keeps telling me "sorry, server is busy". Can anyone help a little lady out????PLEASE!!! 😉
I'm dying here ......my seats keep going further away from the action by the stage......HELP!!!!!!
Well I'll tell ya. I shelled out over $275 to take my son to see EC at MSG. I dont remember the year...just a few years back. Eric had the 20 piece orchestra behind him. Good show, but thats just it, a good show. Not even remotely close to the energy the ABB brought to the Beacon this run...
Saw EC in the 70's, 80's and really
don't have any desire to go again.
Seemed "out of it" everytime I saw him. Jammed with Carlos S. at one show and the look on CS's face said it all. Real disappointment. Eric played
ok, but sloppy. Have seen him on cable since and he was much better.
Someone posted about EC needing someone to kick him to play better,
could be true. I believe since Layla
he has never reached the level of
playing that was captured on that record. Of course, he had the best guitar player in the world, ever, pushing him, inspiring him, and rousing
the spirits. Just listen on several of the cuts, notably "Key to the Highway", where EC is getting off and shouts and whoops.
I think if was stranded on an island with only two records, Fillmore and Layla would be the two I'd want.
EC with Warren...or Derek?? probably never happen. Would make for an interesting jam though.
Maybe at Beacon '05...let me see, what did I do with Eric's number.....

Marley, that's hilarious...and true.
Good Thursday! 😎
CRS indeed-I beg your pardons both, Libby and li'l brother.
