Thanks Scotty! that would be a cool video to see! (since i missed it!) :bawl: hey, its Butch's Bday? COOL! I love the fact that Butch actually takes the time to check in every now and again and voice his opinion. I'm sure the other band members do too; (I know Oteil does) but the fact that Butch is so accessible helps me to feel like i am really part of the ABB family, not just a member of the Fanatic Club! :boomerang: :fanfare: HAPPY BIRTHDAY BUTCH :fanfare:

So I was chatting with Linnie via PM and remembered that there were a few people at the LeftCoast Lam Jam that were videotaping or digitally recording the event. If anyone has a copy or knows where to find the source- inquiring minds want to know. peace and love--scotty

Hello Buppalo and Carol:wave: and good morning to the rest of the GB. Carol your stream of thought posts are wonderful sometimes and sometimes confusing.:tearhair: (think Sandywhateverhisnamewas) You know commas, periods and paragraphs are our friends.:type: Anyway, Tracy Lawrence is a country singer:guitar: who sings "If The World Had a Front Porch" among other country hits. He has been in the business about ten years. Kind of a contemporary of Joe Diffie and that crop of "country hunks." The fact that he is still playing is an accomplishment due to the fickle nature of country top forty these days. Oh yeah he was/is something of a hellraiser. Several brushes with the law.:cop: (Maybe part Allman Brother?) Don't ask me how I know this. Man I'm on vacation, but haven't worked this hard in a while.:hammer: I'm tearing down an old greenhouse in my back yard. Hope I don't get spider bit, wasp stung or snake bit!!! Yeeech!:freaked: Man it's giving me the creeps! Well back to work. God bless all y'all! :fly: ------------------------------------------------- "So many roads. So many trains to ride." - Otis Rush

Me too Leah. We're dealing with animals that the Nazis could have learned from. Carol, whazzup in Chattanooga? That's awfully close to home. Congrats again to the Richerts and the Hirschs.

Hey Brofan - thanks for the tip - went and bought that dvd player at Circuit City for $135. Also bought the Dark Side of the Moon SACD. I have a few DVD-A's. Now I just need to do some tweaking to get it to work right - it was too late last night to crank things up and check everything out. Kind of a pain that you have to hook up the 5.1 RCA cables for SACD and DVD-A instead of just using the digital output (like my old Sony did), but I'll eventually figure it all out. Can't wait to crank it up tonight!

leah, i agree completely. the only good that can come out of that tragedy is to put this issue in the forefront of everyones mind. this madness has got to stop. it is riduculous to me that we are wasting millions of tax dollars on alleged abuse of prisoners of war (which i do not condone at all) while good, hardworking men are being beheaded on tape in foreign countries. enough is enough.

My deepest sympathies to the family/friends of Nicholas Berg of West Chester, PA. Not only does the family have to deal with his horrific public death, but the news - in my opinion - only hammered home the facts of the gruesome murder - was that really necessary - was it necessary to show his father and brother collapsing after hearing the news? I just think the news went too far - just my two cents.
