"Loophole Entertainment"...that might say it all. LLB's lead guitarist sounds a lot like Dickey to these ears...

SH!T! That only leaves 7 options. I wish the best for those lads in LLB - I really do. But, when you make your bed, you must..... IF I was the ruler of the free world I would have said 'mmm, instead of LLB opening in Pburgh...let's put the honorable Warren Dale Haynes in the opening spot' - believe me, I would have affected that change. Thankfully, Los FlashPan Boys backed out! Thank you! Dreams really can come true . BRING ON WARREN!!! 😎

Damm ....well thanks for the truth Lana...unreal news...i guess that means The LLB feel this is their one and only chance to make it...LOL..I am thinking of Albert King's lyric.."don't burn down the bridge..you just might want to come back..the grass ain't always greener ..on the other side of the tracks"..

Thats for sure Lam...no more benefit of the doubt for those guys. I'm sure they'll enjoy the "Flavor of the Month" Club. Looks like they're headed for teeny bopper land anyway...The ABB is certainly better off without them on the bill. "The Slip" is a kickass band by the way and they will be the opening band in N.H... Peace

Well Rich...it appears your instincts were right and there is no more 'speculation'. You may continue your rant and personally I feel the need to ask these misguided young lads outside to engage in fisticuffs! 🙂 Too big for their britches indeed. So much for giving them the benefit of the doubt.

Hey there sweet family, Here's a copy of a Peach-O-Gram I just sent out ... a sneak preview for those of you hanging out here at "home" tonight 🙂 : Hey there sweet family, Although Los Lonely Boys would like you to believe they didn't honor their commitment to the Allman Brothers Band and their fans because of exhaustion the truth, as evidenced by the following email from their management, is that another opportunity came up that they found more more appealing: "Michelle Anthony and Steve Barnett at Sony have placed Los Lonely Boys in Sony's $40 million ad campaign (TV and radio) for its new Sony Connect Walkman. The recording and filming dates for Los Lonely Boys involvement have to be Aug. 20-30th with the deadline that the producers are working with. Also the Latin Grammy's are be broadcast on CBS TV on September 1st in Los Angeles at the Shrine Auditorium. Carlos Santana has personally asked Los Lonely Boys to perform with him on two songs at the event. The band would need to be in Los Angeles on Aug. 31st for run throughs as well as Sept. 1st for the event. Both of these opportunities for national television coincide with the Allman Brothers dates. We will unfortunately have to move Los Lonely Boys off of the Allman dates. I'm very sorry for this last minute yank of the dates. I've discussed this at length with the band and they feel with Sony's input that they must pursue the national television opportunities. Sincerely, Kevin Wommack Loophole Entertainment" We encourage anyone who has ever bought a Los Lonely Boys CD to return it to the store they purchased it from based on the fact that this band is defective. Take care and know that you are loved, informed ... and, hopefully, inspired! Lana

This is the third time I am attempting to write this. Hopefully this time I will get it right. First of all, a huge "THANK YOU" to everyone who expressed concern about the hurricane that hit FL. We appreciate it! Your thoughtfulness means a lot. The storm was supposed to score a direct hit to the area where I live. At the very last moment it made a turn and hit well to the south. Needless to say everyone here - including me - breathed a gigantic sigh of relief. That weekend my wife and I took our oldest son off to college in Sarasota. While the school and its immediate vicinity were spared, the area just to the south was hit hard. The local news coverage was mind-numbing. It was very hard to look at people who had lost everything they owned in the blink of an eye because of some bad weather. And then it hit me. I was so happy the storm had not touched me that I forgot about those who did get slammed. I felt ashamed for having forgotten about my fellow man. When we got back from the school I was telling someone at work that I needed a vacation from all the running around I had to do to get our son off to college. Later in the day I ran into a young woman who works for the same company I do. In the course of our conversation I realized that she is working three jobs. When I asked why, she said: "My Mom was very sick last year and has not been able to work. We just lost our house to foreclosure and I'm taking a year or two off from school to help her get back on her feet." OUCH! Here I am complaining that my daily routine is upset and I'm a bit tired, and this kid has to deal with that! God, please forgive me. I am so humbled. A very wise man once said "You can't let one precious day slip by." It is very easy to lose sight of the big picture and what's really important. We have so much. It is all too easy to take what you have for granted. How many times have we read posts here from those asking for our prayers during their time of need? All of you have certainly helped me on more than one occasion. Take a moment today to kiss the wife and kids, pet the dog, breath the air, give thanks. And if you get the chance to help someone who needs it, don't stop and think about it, just do it. (Good vibes going out to Stormy.) If possible, send the RED CROSS a check. Thay are doing great work and need our support. $5.00, $10.00, whatever. It will go a long way to those who need it. EAPFP

i received very nice email from sweet sister Libby at work today... had no idea what she was referring to.. until i jumped over to here to read... now i feel kinda foolish when you keep in perspective the folks nailed by the storms and such... but i do feel like i'm trapped a bit in another kind of storm... just keep trying to remember that this will pass.. and everyone has to deal with life's "flapdoodle".. so i have to remember not to take it so seriously all the time.. however sometimes... it envelops your world... but "it'll Shine when it Shines.." meantime..i take stock in all my fine friends here.. and how blessed i am for that.. thanks for your love & support.. it puts a grin on my grill... and Mitch... thanks! lammie ... crank up the orgasmatron and jam all night.. be thinkin of you.. and tell Fielding Mellish I said hello..

Layton, I'm flattered you would trust me with your bundles of joy. Problem is I'll be at the show with Sang. BTW, I'll be in Indy next weekend. Is your offer from 2 years ago still good? *wink*
