What Woody said about Jersey, and Negril is lovely but the Jail there is a place to avoid. Had a buddy who spent too much time in a Negril prison and he was never the same after that, all over 20.00 of ganj. Jersey corn and Tomatoes are the best, their was a small farm in westfield, Princess?, that had the best produce. Brothers at Roosevelt stadium73, dickey and chuck tore that show up! I was a casuality, went down hard, so did Gregg. Ah Jersey Memories, love the garden State!

totally spaced but just picked up a ticket for the bros in San Antonio through music city. Got orch 3, k, 14. The chart did not explain but I hope I'm not in the far corner burried behind Gregg's B3. not that painful but there was no will call option and I was forced to pay $8 for 2nd day air. However, this fee and their handling fee was still cheaper than ticketb@stard. peace and love--scotty

Jamaica story: Several friends went to Jamaica after graduating from high school (1969). One hard-core hippie in the group rented a car from a bus boy at the hotel and took to the jungle in search of the "real deal." Car broke down on a rutted dirt road in the middle of nowhere, he walked the road to a villiage, inquired as to a mechanic, and was directed to a certain house (shack). The gentleman accompanied him back to the car, fixed it, and they drove back to his shack to settle up and enjoy refreshments. While sitting on the couch, my friend spotted the picture of an older hippie from our home town on the guy's wall. Go figure.

Hey Linnie--don't follow anyone to a park for ganj, either. Oh, it'll be real. And so will the cops that show up. When I was 23, an old girlfriend of mine and I were there, and this rasta cat found us on the streets. We wanted to take care of bidness back at the hotel, but he said, "no, let's go to the park". Well, this big cop and a few of his flunkies (looked like bellhops)show up at just the wrong time. They're all shooting the s**t w/rasta guy, old pals and all, and this cop hands me back my purchase, sends on my way with the warning "De nex policeman you see might not be as understandin' as me, mon." I tossed that stuff away like it was coated in leprosy!! I think that guy sells the same bag about 10 times a day. I'd suggest the beach in front of your hotel, and in broad daylight. They'll come to you, esp. if you have on a tie-dye or something, or if your hair's a little long. Have a great trip!! Horace EAPFP

Wish I was back in Jersey tonight for sure, driving down the GSP, over the bridge in Perth Amboy (I wonder if it is still the most polluted, the smelliest place on earth) Paying my toll and cruzin' with the Bro's. I just want to say, considering how much crap Jersey people take from the rest of the planet, that I LOVED growing up there and had the time of my life. I wouldn't trade my summers @ the shore for anything. I'd pay a small fortune to be on route 35 right now with a bushel basket of Jersey corn and tomatoes. Have a great time tonight and be safe. To paraphrase what Bruce said "Watch out for the local cops - Cherry Tops" Don't speed! PS - to the guys going to Jaimaca, you're nuts to do any transactions with the locals. The sellers call their brothers, the cops. Bust you 5 minutes later and share in the cumlative profits

Good day all. I wish I was in NJ today to party at Wharfrat's van! Lived in NJ from 1954 (born in the Bronx) until 74, but never saw the Brothers at PNC (formerly the Garden State Arts Center). But the best thing today would be seeing all you NY/NJ/travelling gb'ers and peachheads again. Lift one/burn one in my name!!!!!

Tickets for San Antonio were to go up at 1PM local according to the web site. Finally went live at 2pm central. I think I did pretty well scoring 2 orch seats. At least that's what I hope. My receipt doesn't have the seat # on it. I thought that was strange so I emailed the ticket folks and am hoping for a quick response.

Hey Linnie, When we vacationed in Jamaica, as the busdriver took us to Ocho Rios, he told us if we were silly enough to go into the Rasta Flea Market, "Don'ya buy any ganja, cocaine or gold from dem Mon....none of it be the real ting!". Have a great time! Mitch

Yo fans! I live in Lynn near Boston, MA and missed the band's Tweeter Center show on August 21, 2004. If someone taped that show and wants to trade it let me know and I'll mail you another show- I don't have any recordings from this year's tour yet though.

Everyone who's gonna catch the Bros. tonite in Jersey enjoy the show. i keep hearing the same things i felt after seeing the band this summer, you'll walk out saying WOW, that is the best band I have seen in a long time. Jason so sorry about your friends death... so sad when it hits home. unfortunately as a society we become numb when you turn the set on and its war, murder and corruption,24/7. Wish positive things would get the air play they deserve.

Hey all, Went to last nights show and it was excellent. Bought an Instant Live recording and a Tee Shirt. Missed the HTN tent do to being a little lazy and not searching the far reaches of the theatre early on. Went looking after a while and the HTN tent was gone, Sorry I missed you Joe. I escorted about 20 members of the Irish Police to the show with a couple of friends. They were looking for something to do and I thought it would be a great idea for them to hear some ABB. They had a great time and were especially taken by the mixed crowd. Even got into the VIP area so we could get refreshments during the show. Be safe, John
