there is a 400-year old prison in Grenada that was leveled, and all the prisoners escaped....thats where all the ones from the "Coup" about 20 years ago were being held.... maybe the Navy Seals will get some more action over there now :shudder:

Re TM charges etc. I bought tix for the Mule at RR with Gregg and other guests for the Get Out the Vote concert and the tix were 36.50$, but after charges they were 50$!! An almost 30% add on. They have the ability to take a reasonably priced show and make it expensive. Speaking of the show, it is one of two that Gregg Allman will also appear. I first thought he would be playing with Warren and the Mule, but I saw one site that seemed to say he would be solo. Anybody have any info on that? Talked with BigMIke(actually Phyllis did-he called today for her birthday) and he is in Pa. (former home) riding out the Frances remnants. Like Deb in Boynton he does not have power yet at his home in Fla. Now I see Ivan has cranked up to category 5 and the Keys are already being evacuated. In Grenada 90% of the homes were totally destroyed. Good luck once again to all in Ivan's path.

This is your last chance to pre-order the new album, which will be in stores on Tuesday, September 21st. " hmmmn....is it the 14th or the 21st? i want my MULE soon, dammit! When I saw Chuck w/BHLT, he played a snyth solo on Jessica, followed by a note for note (B&S) piano solo. The snyth solo was very heavy and it almost seemed to be a statement from him like, "see what I'm doing now, versus the past". I called TM about my Fox tickets. They said, most were not distributed yet, but they would go out this week. They also said, if I don't receive them, they'll set it up for will call pick up. Horace, great news about your brother in-law!! Ivan, stay away.

all i know is that Hot Tuna will be at the Keswick in Glenside, PA on the 24th of November - 1/2 accoustic, 1/2 electric....they are finally back to the annual "day before thanksgiving Keswick Jam"....(has made for many a fuzzy turkey day in the X household over the years....) sure beats of the "weekend after" jam they did last year. :blah: we are probably skipping that show though, the travel there is a bit perilous.....lots of dark, winding roads. one time (at band camp....) we got lost, had to ask a cop for directions....which was pretty bold considering our state....

Hey there Brothers & Sisters, I am posting an email I received from one of our Managers: Some of you may remember a posting in the office last spring regarding a child with leukemia who needed a bone marrow transplant. His name is Thomas. He's 12 years old. Thomas is not going to recover from his illness. All treatments have been stopped. his spirits are high, however, and he is trying to reach 100,000 hits to his website. Please log on and send him a note of encouragement or, just log on to read his story. He is a courageous young man. Thank you. http://www3.caringbridge.org/nj/thomaspeterpaul/ Thoughts and prayers going out to all those in need. Excellent news Paul!!!! My love to all...

brofan....I was lucky enough to get 2 Jessica's with Chuck in 2001 in person: 3/25/01 and 8/5/01. The one on 3/23/01 might be the best of them all. Tim

I'm extremely pleased to announce that my bro-in-law's 6way bypass (count 'em--6) went extremely well, and a full recovery is expected. Again thanks to all the gb-ers for the PM's, vibes, prayers and all. It was greatly appreciated by all in my family. Now, if Ivan will just go someplace else....2's enough, thank you (I'm sure Debbie from Boynton will second that). Horace EAPFP

JFD update on the Forum. I never got my tickets for the Beacon last year, got the "Will Call" story. The tickets were waiting at the Will Call window at the Beacon, no problem.

I read this quickly - so it may be wrong - sorry - but I thought I read that Hot Tuna will be at Town Hall, NYC, November 27. Linnie would know for sure.
