Eddie, check the link below for a cool interview with Rich Robinson on CNNfn. He talks about the rumors about the Black Crowes, it's pretty funny. He also says he would definitely be up for it if everyone wants to do it. Sounds like it's just a matter of time. His new album is awesome. Seems like his live shows have been rocking too, according to people on his website. He is playing in NYC tonight. http://money.cnn.com/ontv/thebiz/

Good morning friends... Its a beautiful day here in North Jersey - hope everyone is doing well. Beautifully put Charlesinator in your last couple of posts... I believe I read on the listserv that its Kofi Burbridge's Birthday today - so if it is, Happy Birthday Kofi! Thanks to everyone that keeps the music spreading among our family. Some recent stuff I've been listening to: Ben Harper with Marc Ford - thanks Sean. A recent Rich Robinson solo show, cool stuff - could a Crowes reunion be far off? An old Pink Floyd show from The Animals tour in 1977 as well - brings back some fond memories when every new Floyd release was always celebrated. By the way, my sleeper ABB show from this year is from Kansas City 7/12/04 - Just a great show and the recording is excellent - crispy and tight! You guys going to The Fox are in for a treat! Damn its gonna be fun...I have a feeling there may be a surprise or two just waiting for ya. Peace

You left in autumn The leaves were turning I walked down roads of orange and gold I saw your sweet smile I heard your laughter You're still here beside me every day ’Cause I know you by heart Yes, it's that time of year again, though you'd never know it in NYC today. I do love the Fall. The clear skies, the crisp air, the scent of wood burning, Long Island apples, the colors of the leaves exploding like a firework show finale. Ahhhh.....

Hey now! Long time now see. Just wanted to let y'all know that some good tickets are popping up on the Ticketmaster site for the Fox Theater shows. I was shooting for Saturday night, and Row DD in the Loge, dead center, were the first ones to come up. But I thought to myself, "Self, sometimes you've got to take risks." So I took a deep breath, went back to the event page and put in Orchestra (instead of "best available"), hit "find tickets," and... Orchestra, Row L, Seats 55 & 57!!! :bounce::bounce::bounce: Not bad at all. Being a little on Gregg's side is always a good thing as far as I'm concerned! Anyway, looking forward to seeing everyone. It should be, as Duane once said, "A fiiine weekend." 😀

OK folks....who is up for a pre-show gathering for some drinks on Friday night? I'm thinking 6 or 6:15. Shoot me an email (t_langan@hotmail.com) or PM here. I'm thinking Gordon Biersch, which is about 6 blocks north of The Fox and Georgian Terrace. The Vortex is a bit more of a fun bar, with great burgers, but is a further walk. Bridgetown Grill is the most convenient but will be totally packed before the show. I can give a ring to the place and see if they will hold some space, but I doubt I'll be down there before 6pm. Looking forward to seeing folks Friday & Sat nights. Let me know... Tim L.

and Linnie, I wish you many more years of happiness..it is just common knowledge here that you rock..sometimes, a man must state the obvious..now i need to rent a car as my key got stuck in the ignition last night and has to get towed from a friend's house..of course , this has forced me to take a vacation day today, here in Chicago where it will be 80 and sunny..i am so bummed...

Thanks Luke and Savannah and ILABb for the kind words. I'm really feeling a little more than bummed today. Yesterday was like one of our old parties. Friends most of whom I rarely see any more, but were such a part of my life. Laughing, telling stories, looking a pictures. Just the way Joe would have wanted it. I tried to sieze the moment, but ....... I couldn't hold onto it. Now everybody is scattered again. Probably never getting back together ever again. I miss them and him so much already. God bless y'all and have a great day. May something wonderful happen. Peace. ------------------------------------------------- "I can't say that I've ever been lost, but I was bewildered once for three days." - Daniel Boone
