All the leftcoasters hitting the Mule run this Friday night: There is an aftershow at the Joint. Great Band (The Current) and $2 Beers! I expect all of you to be there!!!! It is immediately following the Mule set on Friday night and is FREE!!!! And Dino will be there (no autographs please). Here's a link with the info: http://www.thecurrentband.com/mule_afterparty.html See this band while they are still in clubs. You won't be disappointed. I guarantee it. If you don't like em Friday, I'll personally pay the cost of admission (as long as you used the attached FREE flyer). And if you are heading south on Saturday for the San Diego show, let us know. The leftcoast crew is mobile! Oh yeah, one more thing: Beat Zona!!!

I just heard something interesting. On the cover of the Fillmore cd where gregg is laughing. I heard that the reason he's laughing is, someone tossed Duane a bag of "heroine or grass". Any truth to this? I looks like DUANE's trying to hide something. Just curious

If I ever calculated the cumlative costs of all my ABB adventures it probably would knock me out. It's got to be 30K heck, herb alone was probably 30K. With all this talk about instant live I had to go over a buy a couple. I have a favor to ask. The only downside to the Beacon run last March was the pilfering of a lot of live CD's I had with me. the only one that really has been irreplacable to date has been the 1987 Dickey Betts band live in New York. I have shared this particular CD with many and damn, I really miss it. If anyone wants to trade for that one PM me and we can work something out. I've really been out of the B&P business for a while since I've been working 70 hours a week but I need to replace this one somehow.

Hello Guys I haven't been around "the ole Peach" for a long time. An still jealous of all who attended the concerts. It's so hard for us out here in the west. You are certainly lucky all who are close to the south and can attend to your hearts content. Have a peachy day. Jocelyn :bash:

Was listening to a golden oldie last night on the treadmill - 1992 Acoustic show with Greg, Warren, Dickey and Allen - just an awesome show - my favorite naturally was Going Down the Road Feeling Bad as Warren got to sing a verse - LOL Southbound was awesome too! Just a pity that I'll probably not ever hear G, W & D harmonize together.

I certainly didn't intend to ruffle anyone's feathers re. the selling price of IL discs. I have and always will support the ABB and everyone involved in getting their music out there. Just a case of momentary sticker shock on the cost of CD's. It is what it is, and people can pay it or not pay it. The ABB have been civil about keeping ticket prices reasonalbe when other bands just plain gouge the public. Always walk away from an ABB show satifisfied.

OK Bird I know "owe" may have been too strong as I have supported these guys for 30+ years myself. I do have alot of music due to their generous policy on taping of their shows. The folks I do OWE are the tapers themselves and many kind bruddas and sistas who share music here. Thanks to all. PS. Chad good job on the Peachies, enjoyed seeing the different nominations. Well Done!

I have figured the dollar total of all costs incurred by trying to see the band in Montana this year, and I will be awaiting my compensatory whazzooo package of all 24 shows.... hehe... And owe the band? heck, I've spent enough on Peach adventures to buy a Vette..... OK, I'll buy one or two IL's....

With the many "free" shows throughout the years it seems to me I owe the band and their affiliates support of at least one instant live recording. I am thinking stocking stuffers for my bruddas who have grown "To Old " to go to shows anymore. If I ever get that old please shoot me!

Just a couple of hours left to nominate someone for a 2004 Peachy. After tonight, I'll total up all the nominations and the people/songs/solos/etc. that received the most nominations for each award will be placed on the official ballot. We'll be voting via a special web page Rowland will set up. This will take place in the next two weeks or so...then the big ceremony will be held the evening of December 2nd over in Anything Goes in the forum. For now, go to the Peach Parties part of the forum and get your last minute nominations done....

Prices are just fine with me. I'm still amazed that these are even available-just a few years ago the thought of an entire unedited concert being available was very very rare. Hopefully the response to these Instant Live sales could somehow turn into something like The Dead's Dick's Picks series.
