You would think that with the peach corps pre-sale those front row tickets etc would go to the real fans, even though it is set up, ticketmaster only half ass cooperates. They holds back the good seats especailly at small venues sell them to the brokers who mark them up 5000%.

and then there's the 20% surcharge that TB gets. They're the biggest scalpers of all.

Got tix thru pre-sale, but was curious as to what the scalper absorption rate was. Googled "Allman tickets" and dozens of sights came up w/ tons of Orchestra/Front Loge Tickets. How do these cockroaches get such a head start??

I say start a "Smack A Scalper" movement. They will either start liking knotty heads or maybe stop scalping. Serious. Leave a few beaten and in their undies in the freezing cold on show nights. Find out what they drive. Blow it up or torch it. Get them fired. With enough harrasment and planted lies, one could get the boss scalper to fire his little scalper drones. What we really need is to be able to hurt them moneywise. Entangle their business. Send a million fr*ggin pizzas to their houses. Have every car salesman in New York state calling them about the new car they asked about. Sh*t, get them divorced. I can think of a few ways there.....

Folks...don't be discouraged just yet. There always extra tickets released through ticketmaster or where credit cards get rejected or where people go over the limit. Also, there will be non-peachcorp members who got in on the pre-sale who get the boot. All of these will come available. I'd try ticketmaster at different times in the day through the weekend and you may just find something there. Happens every year. (added)I just typed in for 2 on the 19th and got a pair near center of Loge Row C...I'm already taken care of for tix, so jump on them.

BigWindy, TB owners also own ticket brokers...need I say more?? We were shut out on Sat night...it seems that I got booted at 10am and could not get back onto TB site until 4 minutes later....so I'll be standing with my ear pressed to the stage door on the 19th!!

Lefty is right. Every night as long as you are patient, you will be able to haggle those guys down to face. I do it for at least one show every yr. and its usually on a Friday. Patience is the key. Screw these guys selling the tix for these outragous prices.
