Ed, In Atlanta, and Georgia for that matter, Georgia Bulldawg football is king, all else pales in comparison as far as fan support goes (I'm sure Hophead and JNB will have something to say about this ;)). I am a Georgia grad so naturally I root for them, and always have, but when it comes to pro sports teams I root for the Chicago clubs (Cubs, not White Sox, I was born in Chicago, but raised in Ga., we moved down here when I was three). I think a lot of folks in Atlanta are like this. A lot of transplanted fans down here. That being said would love to see the Falcons win. Ryan

PhillyBob, The Eagles will not beat either AFC team that goes to the Superbowl. With that said, we all know how your team plays in the big game. You might be getting ahead of yourself. LOL! Sorry could not resist. Falcons vs Pats in the Super Bowl

I'm sorry to ruffle feathers - but go Michael Vick - I'm sorry - but he is a phenomenal quarterback/athlete! While I love football, I do not have a favorite team. My team is the NY Yankees - can't wait for the first Saturday home game - even if it blizzards!!!!!

One good reason why Atlanta will NOT go to the Superbowl.....the Philadelphia Eagles are going to walk all over them. Then, of course, the Eagles will be mauled by the Patriots! 🙂

Ten reasons Atlanta does not deserve to go to the Super Bowl. 1. The city's fans were voted the worst in America by the Sporting News and GQ magazine. 2. The night Henry Aaron hit his 711th career home run on the way to breaking Babe Ruth's record, fewer than 1,500 people showed up at the Braves' ballpark. "This was a pretty strong statement of what Atlanta thought of me and my record," Aaron said. 3. The Georgia Bulldogs outdraw the Falcons. 4. In a span of 15 post-season home games, the Braves failed to sell out nine times. 5. Relatives of the Falcons' once cheered when the team's starting quarterback, Chris Chandler, was injured in a game. When Chandler's wife complained, one of the relatives threw a can of beer at her. 6. The town was called "Loserville, USA," by Sports Illustrated. 7. Its topless Gold Club is known for luring innocent sports stars like Patrick Ewing and Dennis Rodman with sex favors. 8. During the 2003 National League playoffs, not a single local network affiliate agreed to televise the Braves-Cubs series. It was finally broadcast by a low-wattage UHF station. 9. When the Falcons clinched just their third division title in 39 years in a game against the Raiders last month, there were more than 5,000 no-shows at the Georgia Dome. The stadium was half-empty by the fourth quarter. 10. "Frankly, dear, I don't give a damn." - The most famous quote by the town's most famous fan, Rhett Butler. Boo-freaking-hoo

Camping at Live Oak is great. If you want to be a little away from the masses there is space. at Magfest we were in a treeline and had space galore between us and our neighbors. It was, of course further away from the stages. I think camping beats driving in and trying to find parking everyday. Put the tent in a box and check it. This was one of the best camping setups we have experienced and we went to seven festivals last year. Can't wait!

Flash my FAA badge - no problem.... Oops - that won't work anymore, TSA, not the FAA, handles security now. Scottish Inn in Live Oaks is cheap as anything - the one review I saw made it look horrible....
