Well Kids, a few last things to double check on and Colei and I are off to Buffalo, NY to catch our 6:30am flight to Newark, NJ....SARI, don't forget to pick us up 😉 Colei and I (and hopefully Sari too) are going to spend the day in NYC, before going to our inaugural Jello Shot Bootcamp on Saturday with our Sisters for the pre-preparations for the Hospitality Sweeties Beacon Jello Shot Party.....whooooo hooooo :fanfare: Colei is so excited, well so am I as we're going to go by the Beacon Theatre, then we're going to Central Park, then to Battery Park and then...oh lord help me. We're of course starting things off right by going to Times Square where Colei can shop till she drops at the Hello Kitty store on 42nd Street. I think there will be a major economy boom in NYC when she gets done shopping 😆 Take care everyone and our two bachelors at home here namely Shelby and Lynn will behave themselves I'm sure as well as be on the pages checking up on us. Love you two  We're off.....see all you Sweeties real soon :bounce: Later, Karen & Colei

The band talked about recording, and went into the studio and tried to record, a bunch of times between Where it All Begins and Hittin' the Note. But they did get HTN done, and I'm hoping that without personal problems and personnel stuff they'll get this one done too. 🙂

I was hoping with that new studio in the house that Gregg would get the recording bug again. Glad he has it. I wrote on the listserv today that we all need to remember that Gregg started talking about recording a new album about 4-5 years before we ever got our hands on Hittin the Note. I'm thinking not around the corner, but not that far out (I hope!). Good luck Bird on the bid.

Yes Linnie...a support group for those of us who cannot go to the grocery store without some little old lady asking us to pull something down off the top shelf for them. Then we hear, "It must be nice to be so tall!" Yes it is, but the air's a little thin! Tony, that guitar is gorgeous. Hope you get it!

Jim - I was standing behind you at the 9:30 Club Mule show - you're not obvious or tall, it's just a zero tolerence, hawk-eyed venue...

Just saw this, probably old news, but might be an adventure for Bird to try out the new axe if successful: Rock & Roll Fantasy Camp, Hollywood, Feb 17-21. Roger Daltry (Who) Jon Anderson (Yes) Nils Lofgren (E Street) Dickey Betts, Jim Keltner, others. 5 days and nights, 10+ hours jamming daily, no experience necessary. Sponsored by the Wall Street Journal and Empire Kosher. EAPFP
