A sad loss of a legendary bluesman. I was blessed to have played a show with Pinetop Perkins years ago in Pensacola. He was a wonderful man, Kind and gentle spirit. I will miss him. Rest easy PT.

I don't know if anybody else has ever experienced this, but it's kinda hard to apologize to someone for something that you don't know you did! Puzzled.

Max, all I can say is hang in there. Weather the storm as best as you can. It's a whole lot easier to quit, but trust me, when children are involved, that should be your motivation to work on it. I think all married people go through rough patches. Talk to your wife and ask her what the deal is. See if maybe she'd be willing to go to counselling.

I've thoroughly enjoyed this Beacon run via Moogis, although I miss all the years I spent there, at the Beacon in my 20's. I was rich and blessed. Now-a-day's, my wife would rather do the Caribbean or Mediterranean, but I'd still take the Beacon over those in a heartbeat. Having a hard time with marriage lately. I'm back at school, in Buffalo of all places, have a pregnant wife, and a 2 1/2 year old. I love them all, with all my heart, but the wife sure has been hard on this fan lately. I'm almost ready to disappear for a while. Hate arguing in front of the little one, but the woman won't let off! I understand women and hormones maybe not that well, to all you fine ladies out there) somewhat, as I'm studying endocrinology, but man, I wonder if she realizes that I'm slowly weakening. Given up drinking for 8yrs, and all of the other stuff too, (except for a lady I know, Mary Jane). How does a man reside with a woman who is constantly mad at him? For menial things? For spending too much time studying to better our families income? I'm No Angel, but I'd love to be one. After a while, hope fades. It's been a great year at the Beacon, I just wish for one night, (like tonight), I could lift my spirits and feel the magic. That's a hard thing to do when you're down and out! You are all great, I'v been reading your posts for many years! Enjoy the last few shows!
