Had my test today at the hospital. I don't know what it is called but DO NOT have it done. It took two hours of hell. The condition might turn out to be better than the tests. Man, it sucked. On a lighter note, how is everyone today?

I apologize if this has already been posted: Springsteen solo tour to launch in late April - Wednesday April 06, 2005 NEW YORK (AP) Bruce Springsteen will travel light on his upcoming tour. The New Jersey rocker will perform by himself when he launches a series of live shows in support of his upcoming ``Devils & Dust'' album, with the first performance slated for April 25 in Detroit. The new recordings come out a day later. A series of dates across the U.S. and Europe will carry Springsteen through the end of June, when additional shows will be scheduled in America, according to a press release. These will mark Springsteen's first solo shows since the 1995-97 ``Ghost of Tom Joad'' tour, where ``The Boss'' was accompanied only by his acoustic guitar and harmonica. Several of the songs on the new CD were written during that tour, Springsteen said recently. ``Devils & Dust'' is Springsteen's first new studio album since releasing ``The Rising'' three years ago. In the United States, Springsteen will also play dates in Dallas, Phoenix, Los Angeles, Oakland, Denver, St. Paul, Minn., Chicago, Fairfax, Va., Cleveland, Philadelphia, East Rutherford, N.J. and Boston. The European dates begin in Dublin on May 24, and continues through a show in Stockholm on June 25. All the shows will be held in theaters or arenas scaled down to a theater format. ^

Chaz is the young man who Cowboy Neil asked us to send shows to. He was paralyzed as he was on his way to see the ABB. Again, if this violates policy I apologize.

Sorry to interrupt the Yankees game: Don't know if I'm violating procedure here by cutting and pasting some else's post, but after reading this in the Forum and getting a lump in my throat I thought it would be appopriate to share here: hey guys-Neil sent me a link to the forum, and I wanted to thank all of you for all of your kind words, positive thoughts and good spirits. I can tell that this must be a good community of people. And I am both elated and stoked that you guys would be so kind to send me a few shows to lift my spirits. I would never have expected, all of this outpouring of support and good vibes. prior to my injury, I had seen the Allman Brothers play every year at Mansfield. Since 1997. When I was still in high school. Looking back at all the wonderful shows, and good times with friends, lovers and family-when a familiar tune comes on the radio,I cannot help but travel back in time. music definitely imprints different feelings and moments in our body and soul's in the Allman's have always been good to me. Keep me smiling and good times and bad. thanks again guys for sending your support my way and I'll be sure to be listening to some good Southern blues on my ride down to Washington, DC. Peace. Chaz

Hello Beautiful Peacheads.... A few years back, when our Heddy was still with us...We were sitting with Bud Snyder......the handicapped section at this festival , maybe it was Memphis in May....was right next to Bud's soundboard...Ill never forget how kind and decent Bud always treated us....we had the pleasure of sitting with him , at a few shows ,that year....anyway, there was a young man, only 17 years old....his wheelchair next to Heather's....His Mama 's hair (she couldnt have been a day over 30) had several inches of roots, ice-cold snow white...while the length of her crowning glory was still beautiful chestnut brown....He was so adorable and young..friendly....LOVED "his" ABB....He looked into my eyes and said "this is not really me, I rolled my Mustang ...." Tore my heart out...those words haunt me still......Cowboy, if you wouldnt mind, could you pm me that young man's snail addy..I have lots of shows I can share.... Been burning the march 17, 18, and 19 shows to share with Floyd Miles and Lee Roy Parnell, as well as a few other good Peacheads...I know they will LOVE and appreciate them, esp the gorgeous artwork...Thanks again GPM.... Hi Tyler! right back at Ya! Love to you and family..thanks for bringing the smile back to my Irish eyes....eap and counting my blessings, Ca
