I'd like to ask that all of our family here on the guest book keep brother LUKE and his wife Gina in your thoughts and prayers at this time.
Gina lost her dad to lung cancer on Tuesday evening. The family was together as he passed from this world.
Gina's dad is finally at peace and is suffering no more.
LUKE who posts here from time to time and his wife Gina are special people.
LUKE has a heart of gold and is one that I am proud to call my brother.
I met him thru one of his posts here on the Guest book one day and discovered that we lived less than a couple of miles from one another.
After sharing some thoughts one day via a PM we made that discovery and the next thing I was jumping on the bike and heading to meet my new friend. The 2 of us rode our bikes together that day.
This site is an incredible place and I am constantly amazed at the people that I have met here and have developed friendships with.
Live each day to the fullest and try and remember others along the way.
the dickey link isn't working for me...power dvd player keeps opening up

Anyone got the domain name for the Dickey Broadcast tonight?
AWESOMULE
I'm not going to attempt to post a set list from tonights gig in London . . . mainly because too many brain cells are not functioning properly at this moment . . . but it was another awesome show.
They opened with Slackjaw Jezebel and went on into Bad Little Doggie and Fool's Moon . . . there was some Bad Man Walking and Soulshine, a Mountain Jam and a touch of Bob Marley's Lively Up Yourself along the way . . . . . . too much for my brain to cope with right now . . . but the encore was killer . . . joined onstage by the Stacey Brothers for Politician and Dreams!!!
Off like a herd of turtles to go see Jaimoe play with the Pete Scheips Band!:jump:
Anyone get a setlist from the Mule show tonight?
Tan Dan..its not the adhesive..That LR show makes me high too......Tyler...I hope you do make it to that Derek show......Derek is another artist who is as much a gentleman as he is an extremely talented young man.....He nearly always takes the time to meet and greet his audience, whenever possible, and is pure pleasure to talk to..a man so young, he is wise well beyond his years.....
I wanted to shout out to the Great One...Scotty...You brought me good luck, my Brother!....I was going round with these FLA boys that I hired to replace my roof..They did more damage then the hurricane.... I trusted their word (BIG Mistake) that they would make things right, and paid them in full....So here I was, thinking I needed to hire another roof company to clean up the mess..Thinking Kevin was going to fire me and hire a real contractor....Wrong! one of the young men on the crew, went back and told his Daddy.....It seems, this Father and Son team are here in town from Kentucky (I think they said Nelson County) He told his Daddy I treated them right (fixed them Jumbo Shrimp Jambalaya and Hot Cocoa) and they were playing me dirty....He also noticed your GrandMama's Kentucky Derby glasses (127th & 128th), you were so kind to send Heather and I...way back when....(for Sweet Tea!) Well, my roof is now right as rain, they cut me a deal on soffit and facia..did a gorgeous job, and now they are replacing my lanai ceiling with beautiful Red Cedar Planks..Really nice old time handiwork.....Thanks for the good luck vibe..Your GrandMama must have been a special Lady........eap, Ca
Hire a professional? What fun would that be. Just pull out the old floor sander and go nuts. If nothing else you might gag those pesky meeses. I like the sound of that DVD though. I will look into that one. GOOD LUCK DAN! I feel your pain man.
ventilated?....yeah, I voted.
Hey TanDan! I believe you're working in a poorly ventilated area. Someone didn't read the directions...... sure is funny though.
FYI...saw this on Dickey's site:
****Thursday 9pm est ****
RADIO BETTS will be in full swing with special guests and I mean Dickey will be on hand to answer questions, chat about the future and play some tunes. Some Great Music (never know what may be leaked) and conversation. This is live internet radio with fm quality broadcasting. About The Old Grey Whistle Test DVD....Ronnie Van Zandt was on just now with LS (before Steve Gaines) and he says this:
"Thank you London for coming out to see us tonight. We're going to play this next song the best we can..for Duane Allman and Berry Oakley of The Allman Brothers. They WERE the 'Freebirds', people."
Man is that cool or what!
Chitown..run from this job. Oh, it looked great on one of those home improvement shows that my wife so loves. I'm taking up sheet vinyl and is not going as was expected. I've sat down with the mice and they are still laughing, have you ever heard a mouse laugh? It ain't Tom and Jerry... This is airplane-glue city around here. The cat is doing the 'breathe-heavy-on-the-window-writing-'help me!-in the-condensation' routine.
I feel like a TV commercial: "Don't be cheap like Dan, hire a professional!"
Taking a break from the fumes in the kitchen....the mice are snoring now. They were yelling "Whippin' Post' earlier....
Rcvd in the mail a pretty interesting DVD that I ordered from Amazon.com called The Old Grey Whistle Test. I got it for the Rory Gallagher, but it has some cool crystal clear video of Little Feat, capt. Beefheart and others from the 70s. check it out.
About Debbie's GB name. Might I suggest 'CheeseAndCrackers' since she has to go along with that 'whine' of hers. :-p
About 2 1/2-3 hrs from here (with no traffic). I saw Willie Nelson there, many yrs ago during the Country Music Festival and they played all the shows in a tent. I'm assuming this will be a similar set-up.
Barb - I've never been to Hunter Mountain - would this be an outdoor show - its about 2 1/2 hours from Rockland/Long Island?
So, the ABB in Cincinati and New Orleans. Dates slipping out. Come on Red Rocks!
Hey Leah! I think we need to start our own caravan to head up to Hunter June 4!!! I can think of a few people who would be game. 😀
Wooo-hooooo! I can see all kinds of sit-ins with that one......
Tyler, just leave early on 4/20! I've got plenty more dTb shows if you want.
As for me, I'll be at the MULE show on 4/20!!!! :mohawk:
