I am listening right now to the end of the Monday Beacon show. Laudy laudy laudy........tree-men-dous. find a copy and listen.......Warren can write up a set list, yes he can. The Jukes Horns are so awesome. If you combined this show with the Sat night "intensity" and the entertaiment of Little Milton oh my. Chuck Leavell is so in it. If you are still mad about the Dickey thang you might want to not listen because it has smokin' versions of Blue Sky, Les Brers, Jessica and Southbound. ok.....there is also a Little Martha, Into the Mystic, and well go check it out if you can find it from the taper guys. I know for most of you this Beacon run is way in the rear view mirror and that's fine but this Sat and Monday show combo are truly from a special place.......don't think there is a repeat song.....no there ain't. Hey Scotty.........how you doin' man. Have a big time of it when the Boys come Left Coast. Hey Hey.......the blue is all right!! and yes the final encore from this monday show is Layla. best to all. and yes "y'all are a great bunch!". Mang by The Big Muddy

Well, if we go by the Moe tourdates posted today... We will be getting a Philly show after all. And on a Saturday night to boot. Festival Pier at Penns landing 7/23. Hallelujah. Saw the show there in 03. It was a monster show. Good venue. Real casual security. Not like across the river in Camden.

Goliath, glad to know I was missed. I've sure missed seeing all y'all. It sounds like Wanee and/or Gadsden were the places to be. Thanks to everybodies reviews I sort of was and wasn't cold to boot. Maybe next year. Hope to see all my GB friends somewhere down the line. Till then God bless y'all.

Hey Krishna Glad you had a good time, but I am gonna have to disagree with ya on the DSO. Caught them awhile back and what I went away with is, I believe it was Tom Wolfe, You Can Never Go Home Again. I thought it was really hokey they actually try and look like the band. I will say one of the members was better than the original and that was the lady playing Donna Jean. just my thought on that band (?) and not saying your wrong and I'm right, just how I felt when I saw their act.

I hate to beat a dead horse, but I wonder if the U.S. Social Security system would like to know that my government funds were stolen. Maybe that would get the bank on it a little quiker. Brofan, I agree with your sentiments and appreciate your words.

Well, it's great to know all you wanee folks got home ok and your computers still work! I gotta add my thanks to Cal for his cuisine, Goliath and MissElf for the ride down on short notice, TanDan for the ride back, banesH for making the campsite (Camp Helen) so great and pixielf and her sister for getting the great seats right in front of the stage both nights! I was lucky enough to get to save their seats while they were at the Derek stage & I saw the best two Mule sets I have ever seen! "She said>tomorrow never knows" was just great! Maybe I am not the great camper everybody else is, but I hugged my nice soft mattress when I got home and my nice clean toilet, and I haven't hugged my toilet since college days, and then it was for a different reason. Another great thing was the weather...just like New York City in March--shorts weather, I call it! See ya'll soon, I hope!

Goliath, Can't believe that was the only time our paths crossed all weekend. I would have had more of a conversation but I figured we would surely met again. Had my eyes out for you but apparently it was not meant to be. How good was that Derek show on Friday anyway?! I certainly felt "renewed" afterwards. Zambi, where the heck were you? You were another person I was on the look out for and felt it was just a matter of time before I ran into you, sorry it didn't happen bro. Ryan

moe. dates are posted in the Anything Goes section of the Forum. These are the dates that they open for the ABB. Since they are not officially announced here, I would guess that they are not quite yet "set in stone" so don't blame me! I guess I should've had some of that stir fry!

Charlesinator, it goes without saying that you were missed... 😀 You are going to have to do this thing next year, bro...get ol Ray down here too...it was something, my man...It was also said several times how much Randy and SistaBluz were missed...and everyone I talked to asked if Clay was going to be there...heard Libby's name bandied about a bit too..sure wish even more of our family could have been there...DO NOT MISS WANEE next year....please. Kirk rode up to me on his golf cart Saturday, and we were just sort of standing there grinning...and he read my mind and said, "ain't this great?" Yes it was, yes it was....
