Well this morning I give my students their last chemistry evaluation and then tommorrow we clean up lab and call it quits. I have had the best teaching experience in my 18 year career this summer. I worked for a program Upward Bound and I had 13 students in class and lab this summer. With such a small class I could give the students alot of individual attention and get to know them so much better on a personal level. I know this is not ABB related, but it is, we played them in lab. Usually I am happy to be rid of the little ones by the time we are done, but these kids I am going to miss. Usually summer school is against my religion but I am glad I spent my summer the way I did. I am off to Montana sat a.m. (gonna be a dental floss tycoon).

Man this place gets low. Calling people Lawyers. Ouch. I always thought Marley was more like a "Politician". King of Liberal Rhetoric and Intellectual Saber Rattler is his official title. Except Sabers are a violent tool, so someone needs to correct him. He writes pretty good music stuff so he is alright in spite 🙂 and he takes a jab pretty well. Having said all that he still owes me $20.

As for this other, uh, stuff (ABB Cover Band, New ABB, etc.) - anyone who saw the last Beacon show 3/21/05 can attest that it's one of the best shows ANY version of the band has done since possibly the Duane era, imho. I'll take that EVERY SINGLE DAY. One of the greatest shows (of anyone) I've ever seen (and there have been a lot). I've been a ABB fan since the release of Fillmore East. joe

Bill, one of the first friends I made through this site was a lawyer, and one of my best friends from college is going to be one. Don't ask me why I'm a lawyer, I guess I just appointed myself one one night. Maybe I was drunk at the time? I'll call the band about collecting my fees, would you believe they haven't given me a cent? :-p Thanks Bluefox. I like the law, but I also like the job I've got.

BLD Self appointed? I thought Marley Marley and Peachnut was a firm! Some folks need to get Laid (Back), its a wonderful cd. The Name of the Band: The Allman Brothers Band, plain and simple. I don't go over to Dickeys site much cause they call us "Sheep" which I find a little bit insulting. This Sheep will be on the stairs at Red Rocks.
