I had always heard that the reason cigarettes were so hard to kick was that the brain receptors are the same ones for heroin. Gregg stated in print that it was the hardest to kick, cigarettes.

BTW I know the very late announcement of the Red Rocks show messed up a lot of plans to come out here this summer, but I want those who I've told in the past (sweeties, Colin etc.) that the offer is still good even if we turn into a dorm. If it became too late for plans (as some have told me), I will invite you again for next year.

Man, what a bummer. Rest in peace, Little Milton. Not many original bluesmen left. Happy birthday, Lamdog! Enjoy your day, my brother. And way to go, Southpaw! After about ten years of seeing her each and every day, I hardly ever hang out with Mary Jane anymore...she just makes tired and stupid. On a related note, I haven't had a cigarette since Thanksgiving Day. Halleluiah! 😀

Woof! :birthday: wishes out to Lamdog! Hope you have a super great day. Hoping for the best with Dru and Little Milton. Had the opportunity of interviewing Dru some 25 years ago and have visited with him at shows numerous times since then. Always a class act and a fine person. What a complete shame. Again, hoping for the best.

Happy Birthday to one of my favorite wacky folks...the one and only Lammie!...see you soon Brudda. ...and of course a BIG Happy Birthday to the man whose notes had wings - Jerry Garcia, a musician of epic proportions who's music has touched my life in so many ways! Today is also the 2 year anniversary of that great ABB show at Montage which I shared with MANY of you guys. Who can forget that killer jam for Jerry - Illness>Dark Star>The Other One>Illness from 8/1/03 with Karl Denson joining in the fun! What a great weekend we all had...

Here's wishing a big Guest Book happy birthday to lamdog! Meanwhile, Dru Lombar and Little Milton are in my thoughts and prayers. I had the great pleasure of interviewing Dru for an article here in Hittin' the Web a couple of years ago -- he is a sweet man and a fine guitar player. http://www.hittintheweb.com/modules.php?op=modload&name=userpage&file=content&page_id=25
