I'm sure the "Last Supper" was cool, whatever it was, but that is kind of a special term to use maybe? Jesus did drink wine at that meal, but not jello shots... hmmmm...
congrats Hop
:birthday: to my sweet sista Lana!!!! Thank you for EVERYTHING! May your day be as beautiful as you are.
:birthday: Sang!! Have a great day, sweetie!!

Have a great day everyone.
Happy birthday to my favorite lady, the Queen of Peach -- Lana, your dreams HAVE come true!
And here's wishing a big Guest Book happy birthday to Brother Sang!
BTW, this morning I reached my target weight and I'm still a little dazed by the whole thing ...
......speechless.
Randy Stevens aka;Buppalo, is a saint. If people are charcoal, he is a diamond.

Dear Lana,
Hope you had the happiest of birthdays.
Most importantly, I want to thank you for bringing together this amazing group of people under one roof to share their loves and their lives with one another. You have given us a gift that is impossible to reciprocate except to let you know how grateful this particular lifelong Peachhead is for yours and Rowland's efforts.
Hope (expect) someday our paths will cross.
EAPFP, Elizabeth
A very happy birthday to the Queen of Peach - next year I hope to make the Lanaroo fest!!
Sounds like I missed a good one. Lana I think you and my Daughter share the same birthday. The Brotherhood would like to play one of these sometime, please keep us in mind. See you all around like a donut!
Happy Birthday Lana. Due to you and Rowland's hard work, I've had the pleasure of meeting literally hundreds of folks from here and the listserv. I stumbled upon the original Hittin the Web in 1997 to try to find out more about these cats Oteil and Jack, after reading about Warren & Woody's departure in the Atlanta paper. I've stuck around since.
Annual trips to the Beacon have followed, as well as CD trading, pre-sale tickets, putting on and attending pre-show gatherings, and much more. Somehow, never met Rowland in person yet!
Happy Birthday Lana. Enjoy your day.

Birthday greetings to Lana...sounds like Lanaroo was a great weekend of music and joy among the extended family. Thanks to Lana and Rowland for our family here.
Birthday greetings to Bro. Sang too.
Thanks to Carol for the JFD pics. As the official unmayor of Gadsden, after listening to 2 weeks of feedback, I can officially state that JFD weekend was the high-water mark for our little town. Because of the people that chose to spend those days of their lives here.
Thanks to Brent for letting me be a part of it. Thanks to RickT. and Tom S. for getting the extended family involved way back when. Thanks to Bobby Welch for moving us to the next level, your money and vision brought Derek Trucks and larger venues. Thanks to Angela Sauls, your money brought Jimmy Hall and Jack Pearson. Thanks to Carl Weaver, your friendship with Johnny Sandlin moved us to another level, your money and venue brought the CRS. Thank you Johnny Sandlin, for wanting to support Brent's vision for honoring Duane. Thanks for being the unseen force in all this. Another thanks to Carl Weaver, who supplied the money and the venue for this year's Jam.
A special thanks to the musicians that traveled and gave up gigs to play for free--Tommy Booth, John Allen and his band from Tampa, the Andrews, Lefty Collins and No Mercy, Charlie Soul, and the Skydogs.
Thanks to SkydogJ for bringing your equipment a great distance, trying to help.
And a very special thanks to the members of the Capricorn Rhythm Section. These men travelled repeatedly from Nashville, Muscle Shoals, Decatur, Atlanta, and Macon to practice repeatedly, at their expense and inconvenience, giving up time touring or in the studio, practicing till their hands were too sore to play....truly above and beyond, and a true tribute to the legend that unites us all.
....and a very special thanks to Bro. Brent Sibley, who lets me go along for the ride. I have worked in numerous political campaigns, have run myself.
I know about hard, grueling work. My role in the Jam? Hang out, listen to great music, drink beer, spend hours with people I love, make an occasional post on the internet. Some hard work, huh? Brent busts his butt on this thing, researching old music, teaching it to his bands, rehearsing, coordinating with all the musicians and club owner, dealing with the t-shirts, continually putting out fires, all adding stress and expense to his personal life and career. Purely out of love for Duane Allman and his legacy. There's nothing else in it for him. He deserves an honorable mention in the next book or documentary, IMHO.
And thanks most of all to the people who came here to support the JFD with their money and their time. From those that came to the supporting shows, like Billy and Kay Eddins, Donna and Rusty, Carol and Kevin, to those too numerous to mention that came for JFD weekend, thanks for coming to Gadsden. My love to each.
Long live the legacy of Bro. Duane Allman. See y'all next year.
