Patrickchreshaw and I visited The Capital Theatre yesterday. We left Slowhand6 back at the music store jamming with Goliath's brother. Folks could've bought tickets for that! What a beautiful place!!! A minature version of Atlanta's Fox Theatre. Workers were running everywhere like ants. The place is really going to be something to behold. They don't make places like this anymore....but again perhaps they do.

I've been playing Hammond B-3 about as long as Greg and probably do 75% of their songs. As an ABB Tribute Band, we've been able to touch the hearts of millions of ABB fans by playing their most favorite songs, songs that have touched all of our hearts over the years. How does one properly thank icons like Greg, Duane, Dickey, Barry, Allen, Warren, Jaimoe, Butch and many more, for the dedication and hard work that they've given to make the Allman Brothers Band a success that's unmeasureable, giving up their normal lives so that we may enjoy the music that has become so much a part of our lives, always putting their fans first. I personally was inspired by Greg's B-3 magic, so much in fact that i've spent most of my life playing Hammond B=3 as have many others. I'd personally like to thank each and every one of you for everything you've done for our music industry and for the entertainment you've given us over the years. There's no way to properly thank you guys for everything you've done, just know that we're most grateful. From the bottom of our hearts, We Thank You. Larry Warren Pres:Arkansas River Blues Society.

If any of you are anywhere near Coral Springs Saturday night, Freebo and Jim Photoglo are playing at a house concert in Coral Springs. The info is on Freebo's website at freebo.com. Patti and I caught his show last night and it's worth a drive. We had a chance to chat for a couple of hours. He's really an interesting guy. His activist spirit is still alive and well. If you don't know, Freebo is the legendary fretless bass player that played with Bonnie Raitt for years, CSN, Ringo Starr, John Mayall, and a host of others. Recently he's teamed-up with Jim Photoglo, a monster singer/songwriter from Nashville. The two of them have a great harmony thing going on with only two acoustic guitars, but they rock. Anyway, they are going to be in your neck-of-the-woods tomorrow (Sat). If you do see them, tell them I sent you. They'll get a kick out of that. Bill

Evening all, Just watched ' Temples Of Rock ' it was really good but my favorite parts were the interview ( alittle short ) with Dickey Betts and the ABB footage at the Fillmore 71'. The last shot was of Duane as they closed out the show and the Fillmore. It got me to thinkin' that they don't call it Rock N' Roll heaven for nothing. It plays again tomorrow check listings. peace rain
