Hey there sweet family, Just sent out the following Peach-O-Gram: Hey there sweet family, On Valentine's Day we're going to send out a Peach-O-Gram about an auction of Allman Brothers Band memorabilia and Beacon tix the Big House Foundation is having; the Hittin' the Web Family of Bands shows May 19 & 20 in Gadsden, AL (hint: Oteil & the Peacemaker's will be there! Whoo Hoo!); and probably some other cool stuff. However, since the Peach-O-Gram is going out on Valentine's Day, hopeless romantic that I am, I thought why not make it something really special? Why not amp up the love and give *you* the chance to propose to your signifipeach other in the Valentine's Day Peach-O-Gram? ok, I'm biased, but it sounds cooler than sky writing or popping the Q at a sporting event ... so fun, so imaginative, so you! All you need to do is send a Private Message to Lana, at allmanbrothersband.com with Proposal as the subject by midnight Monday, February 13. The Peach&Love-O-Gram will go out early Valentine's Day morning. This little conspiracy is ABB-solutely free ... but you do have to promise to let us know what the answer is. Take care and know that you are loved, Lana and Rowland ### Come on, someone do it, do it, do it! 🙂 Lana

When I was up in Montana we went to a river to fish and we get out of the truck and all these secret service come out of the trees and tell us the river is CLOSED as Dick Cheney was fishing it. Just as well as maybe he would have taken my eye with a fly. Did not know you can CLOSE a river, but let freedom ring

...Remain alert!.. I shoulda posted last night after getting back from the show, but I decided to sleep instead 🙂 So after Friday's show I said "in a word AWESOME!" Well, I don't know what to say after last night! I can't say it was better, but it was beyond AWESOME! The band was just OUTSTANDING!!! Everyone seemed in a good mood as they hit the stage at 9:30 and started with: Chevrolet Sahib Teri Bandi> Maki Madni Soul Serenade (vocals) I'd Rather Be Blind, Crippled And Crazy Let's Go Get Stoned Up Above My Head For My Brother break (10:23-11:12) San Francisco Soul Stew (Frisco Hot Stew) Everything Is Everything 44 Blues-1 I Wish I Knew Home In Your Heart Going Down Slow Mahjoun> Greensleeves Anyday-b encore Spirit In The Dark-1 band leaves stage 12:32 1-Papa Mali-guitar b-Derek breaks string(again) As was mentioned earlier (Brad from Sunnyvale) Derek broke a string during the first set & played a nice Les Paul sunburst for the next song, unfortunately, this reporter forgot to jot down which songs 🙂 talk about being in the moment!! My favorite song of the night would have to be "Everything Is Everything"-everybody was Hittin' The Note!! Tasty solos from Kofi (flute & keys), Todd, the Count & of course, Derek. "Going Down Slow" is always a treat-I LOVE that song! During the break, the fire alarm was malfunctioning, which kept the band off-stage for longer than Friday night, so I think they made up for it by absolutely SMOKIN' (pun intended 🙂 ) the second set! On a personal note I was able to snag Derek's second broken string (Anyday), it is now in the MundeleinHoward rock souvenir collection 🙂 ANOTHER AWESOME DEREK SHOW!!!! :clapping: :clapping: :clapping: THANK YOU LANA!!! :clapping: :clapping: :clapping: :clapping: :clapping: :clapping: THANK YOU ROWLAND!!! :clapping: :clapping: :clapping: ..the world needs more lerts! 😎 ...

I actually counted a couple dozen of snow flakes here in B'ham. That's cool with me because snowfall almost always involves my neighborhood being without electricity for four or five days.

We had a total of 10 snowflakes land in Birmingham! Woohoo! Run to the store for bread and milk (required task for residents here to clean out the shelves at the first hint of snow). Of course, any snow fall is beautiful to me if you are in a beautiful place to see it. We in the Ham are not equipped at all to handle the stuff but it is pretty to see. Have a good day Rick ----------------------- Ive got an 80 foot driveway with about 26 inches of the white stuff on it right now. C'mon up and take all you like, take it all for all I care.....

Just finished shoveling 16" of the white stuff here in southern PA, northern Baltimore, MD. The sun is out now & that means we're going to be in a pretty thick freeze by tomorrow morning. If anyone affected by the snow has to be anywhere tomorrow & can move your vehicle to somewhere that's already been plowed, with the confidence that you're not going to be towed away over night, now is probably the best time to do so. Everybody be safe!

We had a very, very llght dusting of snow here in Hot'lanta when I woke up this morning. At daybreak I started a nice fire, got some grits going (with lots of hot, melted butter!) and then began recording the dTb in Holland. Hemlock has been politely waiting some 3 or 4 months for this show and it's time I get to it! It was a wonderful way to start the day. Now, I'm just curled up in my lazyboy by the fire proofing some ABB reading material...thinking about the Beacon and all of our friends in the snow up there. Have a great Sunday ya'll, JNB
