Monday, March 13, we have 2 extra Lower Balcony, top row center seats. These cost $61 apiece via Ticketmaster. Having sat there last year, the view and sound are good. If anyone is interested in them PM me.
Sending good vibes to Sherry and Mike and praying things go well with the procedure.
I love you, Lana!
Sherry, my thoughts and prayers are with you. Hoping for the best for you and Mike.
As the Tour Mystic has often told me – patience is a virtue. This must mean that those of you who ordered the 2005 Instant Live CDs from Hittin’ the Note are extremely virtuous! Thank you!
We expect to receive a shipment tomorrow that will allow us to complete the “West Best” set. Those orders will be going out in the mail starting 3/1/06. The “West Best El Grande” should be shipped a few days later and the Summer Swing package after that. It looks like the complete 2005 Instant Live Summer Crop will (hopefully) ship in time to help celebrate the 35th anniversary of the Greatest Live Recording ever – Live at The Fillmore East!
All of us at Hittin’ the Note, Instant Live and The Allman Brothers Band want to thank you for your patience. We acknowledge and apologize for the lengthy delay between your payment and the delivery of your order. Please know that there have been a number of discussions on how to improve this process for the next go round. Suffice it to say that if something could go wrong this year, it did. Without publicly flogging the offenders – let me just say that we all know we can do better.
Thanks again for your patience and your orders – ya’ll a great bunch!

Thoughts and prayers to Sherry and Mike.
"...and hike down to the Eno River if they get bored with the wedding festivities."
Lana, I can't picture anyone being bored at your wedding festivities! 😀
Wishing the very best to Mike and Sherry.
All the good karma to Sherry and Mike. You are both in my thoughts and prayers...Looks like Europe will be rockin' this summer!
Well, I think Brent (leftcoastblues) had some great insight that Derek is the second Allman's slide player that EC tried to steal.....
Interesting stuff. also, bummed that I will miss derek by a week in Paris.... Wondering if LANA and ROWLAND are now planning a european honeymoon...
Guess we'll have that forth coming DVD to get us through the dry spell. Anyone know any release date?
peace and love---scotty
Bert Holman was quoted in a recent article (about his speaking engagement) that the ABB would do about 30 shows in addition to the Beacon this year. I'd bet that is 10 in June, 10 in August and 10 in September. I'd bet/hope dTb get some opening slots with Clapton and the ABB this year.

Common sense says Derek and Warren will be occupied with other projects during roughly the same time period.
What do you suppose the others might be doing during their spare time? And Chuck too?

I wouldn't be all that concerned that the Beacon shows will be it for the ABB this year. EC is off the road between June 10 and July 7, according to Pollstar:

So it looks like the ABB will have about a month - most of June through the July 4th holiday, and then Derek picks back up with EC on July 7th for the rest of July. That would still leave the ABB a second leg in August & September, before a fall EC tour of the U.S. arenas with Derek. Seems like the calendar works out, at least for Derek with both EC and the ABB. I'm a bit concerned about the DTB though, unless they will get to open some ABB and/or EC shows.
Riverbend Festival in Chattanooga supports the ABB playing shows in June:

We love you sooooo much Lana and Rowland
Congratulations
I just knew deep in my heart this was meant to be and now....it is!
Kind of scary, Derek with EC until July Warren touring with Mule at least into June and I'm sure he is being courted by others, there is no shortage of bands that would love to have him on board. Looking more and more like we better enjoy the Beacon this year as it might be all we get.
