@ dcbill..on the bright side, Dickey's - Rain 🙂 Rain, Rain ) my knees are feeling the need to get a workout, wish to throw a few prayers out there, expecially for the good people of New York and DC, as September 11, approaches, and to remember all our brave young Men & Women fighting the good fight, especially Forrest Sibley, who's sweet Daddy has given so much and who brings so much joy to Peachies , his annual Jam For Duane event..Amen

It's hard for me to buy new music. When I listen to songs like these, why bother. What a blues kicking song---It's Duane with Aretha, and it sounds like King Curtis and his band. It sounds like ( Jerry Jermott?) It's on you tube-the song is called ( IT AIN"T FAIR)

I wish I had a great music review to offer, or to read..soon I hope... God remember the Peachies

Hey - one way to make the site more about music is to make a post about music! I was with some "like minded" music folks at the neighborhood pool a few weeks back. These folks aren't Allman fanatics but are the type that have gone to Bonarroo and are regulars at Jazz Fest most years. One mom asked the other what was the best thing she saw at Jazz Fest this year. Her response? "Gregg Allman. I know it sounds odd, but it was very fresh and different. Even the Allman Brothers songs were different. He sounded great." Now, we need a good Gregg & Friends show near Georgia when Gregory gets on the mend. I honestly am looking forward to one of those probably more than my next ABB show, but I'll gladly take either!

I agree also, I just saw a thread yesterday in the forum about this site and how it has changed and has less activity......well I know why. This place's common denominator IS THE MUSIC but as Lizzie put it, it's just as much about the BROTHERHOOD.....Especially for the Old timers to hang on to it and their friends and for new people like me to have a place to come and find it. I too have met friends or should I say Brothers and Sisters here that I will have for a lifetime only bc Red Dog told me about this site..... :inlove: I do not post here anymore or in the forum and very rarely come here anymore and there are a lot more like me........ This place used to be the highlight of my morning...... Like Leah said all of you in need are always in my thoughts and prayers, even if I dont post it. I always ask God to help, heal and bless my ABB family. This place has been compared to a virtual living room set up for this family to come together and visit.....I think thats exactly what it is, other dont......We all have our opinions. And if you havent gotten your tickets for GABBA....still Got some left, get your now so you wont miss out on this incredible weekend......See you in Macon to Celebrate "40 years of Filmore" and this band we all LOVE so much.
