It has been so pleasant to read all about the concerts, special guests and fun fan frolicks. ABB fans are quite special indeed:colors: the loving vibe goes both ways and its palpable:inlove2: Very cool to be able to listen to 365live radio and have these soulful and timeless songs serenading through the house all day long. Kudos to this beautiful band and all their touring labours that bring so many pleasures:mohawk: maybe next year I'll make the beacon, lamdog, telling the family I have to go to 'band camp' :winky:

All of us Southside Chicago Crew, and anyone else from the Chicagoland area should make it a point to hook up when ever Lefty is playing in the area. Dig that man! Sweet

Bird those hats are called kufis and Jaimoe or Yonrico or the Count M'butu ought to be able to hook you up. And no you won't get beat up in New York over what you wear. Maybe Montana but certainly not NYC. Although come to think of it "Brokeback Mountain" was filmed in Montana. Maybe they are getting more tolerant of alternative lifestyles. Lol!

A little late in posting this, but I thought I’d say just a few words about this past weekend. Of course as some of you know, I tend to write volumes so I will try to keep this brief, and tear free…. First I’d like to say ‘Thanks’ to all my beautiful Sweetie sisters, Jacquie, Terri, Sari, Stacey, Marsha, Peg and Sista Bluz for their kindness and generosity. I know how much time, effort and expense goes into planning such an event, it is no easy task. What makes this party so special is that it’s all done from their hearts, for their love for all of us. It doesn’t get any better than that, does it? Scotty and Rich, thank you for the splendid party on Saturday. A Herculean effort if there ever was one. A room full of exceptional people, friends new and old, fine and talented musicians…..all a part of this incredible family. Unbelievable. You guys deserve our gratitude and recognition for your hard work and dedication. Rich, I truly apologize for my forgetfulness. To my partners in crime, roomies, dear friends, confidants, and more beautiful sisters, Barb, Janet, Lauri, and Carol, you guys gave me one of the best weekends of my life, memories to be treasured and remembered with fondness. I haven’t laughed that much in a long, long time. And contrary to what anyone may have heard…..I DID NOT get us kicked out of Central Park! LOL. :lol2: EZMichael – truly a pleasure. We WILL continue our bass lesson conversation. If I’m going to keep trying to get identifiable sounds out of that thing, I might as well do it right! Bill E, thank you so very much for the book. Your kindness overwhelms me. I sincerely enjoyed spending time and talking with you at BB’s. Lefty, you probably don’t remember you said it, but thanks for the delightful compliment, it made my night! What a treat to finally meet some overseas friends, Harvey and janne, two fine brothers. See ya next year guys! There are so many highlights and memorable events, I can’t possible list them all or everyone that I was so happy to be reunited with. You all mean so very much to me, even those that were not able to attend….you were missed. Oh yeah, the shows…..Friday was ok, loved Taj. Midnight Rider….well, I’ll hope for better next time. Saturday was great. Read what everyone else had to say about them, it’ll be more interesting anyway. Lana and Rowland……you already know what I’d like to say, so I won’t repeat it here. Just know that it is heartfelt and genuine. Peace and love to you all.

Good Morning all. Peace and love to all my friends, especially one from the old days. Thanks fer talkin' HUG. I might as well fess up...... did luck out on TM two days ago on 10th row Gregg side Sunday, in the midst of standing room only tickets, pure luck. So yesterday I spent an hour on line with a really cool Delta guy who was incredible and got me on a plane for $70 with skymiles. It looked bleak, but tip: There are double sky miles seats that still can be available on "booked" flights. That is how I got on. I had a ticket to redeem, but no seat. SkyMiles: seat. so...... all I need is a room Saturday. Details. I have a Friday and Sunday Beacon room and no Saturday. Somebody cancel, please, and PM me 🙂 Where can I buy an African hat in NYC? I have always wanted a flat top African hat, like red or purple on black. Would that offend anyone black? I mean I love those caps, and they go with cowboy boots 🙂 I'd hate to get beat up wearing one. anyway GOOD MORNING. hug to those in turmoil. Kick in the butt to the rest 🙂
