Hey all, How ya doing? Haven't logged in for a long time. Work has degenerated into your basic corporate, head-hunting, political cover your ass, heads are gonna roll nightmare. I've been pretty lucky thoughout my career to keep clear of the bad s$%t, but I wasn't so lucky (or good) this time. So now we have the entire corporate Quality audit team here for two months. I remember the line from Silverado where Kevin Klein says "we were out in the middle of the desert and all of a sudden everyone had a gun except me". The last three weeks cannot be beleived. The bottom line is that survivial is unlikely but I'm trying to hang in there for those that work for me and the rest of the employees that might be affected if the situation goes really south. Enough whining, the real reason I jumped on was two fold. Is there any hope of instant live or tapes of 3-18. I would love to get a copy to that show 'cause without a doubt that was a killer show. Second topic is how much I love this place and this music. I was feeling really down and so here it is 11:30 at night and my wife falls asleep (very rare that she is asleep before me) So I sneak out the the jacussi, a couple of steallthy bongs and put on the headphones. Put on Deep End, "Worried Down with the Blues" Followed by Nobody Knows from Shades and finished with Leave My Blues @ Home" Once again the aura from this site and this incredible music transported me (if even only temporarily) to a world of my own. No work hassles, no family worries, just soaring into space being on the stage with the Bro's. I really don't know what I do without you all. Your are my hiding place.

Actually Rick , it would be nice to have dates so we can plan on what shows we can make, get tickets, make travel plans etc. Hopefully after Wannee there will be some dates.I know I need some western dates so I do not make any plans if they are anywhere near here. When asked what I plan on doing this summer, after getting my wifes strength and health improved, flyfishing, the only other thing onmy must dolist is catch The Brothers.

I dont know if I am being controversal as much as I am expressiing a legitimate frustration. I mean, sure, you can look at the Beacon run for what it was, but, after 35 years one expects the Band to communicate to their fan base if this is the end of the line. If it is, I want to plan for it (yes, a few of us have jobs where we have to plan in advance) and I would hope the Band would communicate more openly with their fans about their future plans. And I'm not the only one that feels this way. The Beacon run is over. Now it's time to plan our time and money and energies to future dates. But if fans dont know what the future dates are, then IMO the Band does not have anyone but themselves to blame when they dont sell out a venue. Look at it this way. NASCAR puts its schedule out a year in advance. Mule already has its 2006 schedule out there. Hell, even Wayne Newton has his 2006 schedule out there...why not the Brothers? It's not too much to ask.

Hello everyone! HAPPY BIRTHDAYS all around - the ones I just missed, and the one(s) coming up this week.... Michael - nope, no dTb this weekend - playing Mr. Mom while Jen/Em are vacationing in Annapolis. The other 4 of us have an exciting afternoon of a trip to the dump, Monopoly (kid's version), and naps planned....

Thank you, Lefty! I hope you guys have fun in Cleveland tonight, yourselves! 😀 Speaking of Goldie, have you had Derek's signature sealed up, too? I'm jonesing for a new instrument, and that's not a good thing for my budget--or lack of it! :looney: I look forward to seeing you--and playing with you--soon. How about two weeks from today? 😀

Steph, John, Jim (?), and anyone else heading to see the dTb in DC today, enjoy! I know you will! If I didn't have a gig tonight I'd be joining you! Speaking of: If anyone in the Richmond, VA, area needs something to do tonight, may I shamelessly offer up the suggestion of hearing Big Boss Man play at Daddios in the West End? Details can be found by clicking on the little house under my screen name. Thanks! Happy Saturday, all!

In my humble opinion Rick T the ABB after just finishing up the greatest run of music on the upper westside could call it a day if they wanted to and we all.collectively, should gaze up to the sky and thank the good lord for this gift and privilege..Tour date postings??..Disrespecting fans?? you're just being controversial again.. hey I get it.. my best friend is named deezee

They have already told us dates are going to be few and far between this year about 30. There is no news flash here.

Wow..... I know I am not in the loop with what all is ABB Happenings, but, simply looking at the GM dates already posted ("more dates TBA"), and, given the fact the ABB has not posted anything beyond Wannee & Chattanooga, makes me think the ABB dates are going to be few and far between. Hope not, but at this point, what do we know??? Personally, fans deserve better. It is frustrating to stand by waiting on plans for travel and ticket purchases. I simply dont understand it. Rick
