Never to late for earplugs Linnie. I started wearing them a number of years ago. Saw Tom Verlaine (Television) at Bowrey Ballroom last Thursday and boy did I need them! Jeff

Whoooo Hooooo - have no idea how I am staying up right now but here I am - what a show last night - there is something in the air at Bowery Ballroom - I really enjoy the Warren shows there and last night did not disappoint - a good sign that the evening was going to be a good one - on street parking. The crowd was very friendly - unlike Sayreville - hello to Barb, Bob, Russell - please email me your address - Ron - Angela, Sean, Leigh, Cathy, Holly, James and others who were so fun to hang with -right in front of Warren who has ignored my pleas to show his forearms - oh and when I asked about Mrs. Terri Haynes - he said Terri who? LOL Unlike Roseland, the new songs were mixed in with the old classics - Bad Little Doggie, Blind Man, Thorazine Shuffle, Wheres My Mule, Ram, Beautifully Broken was so hot!!! The new High and Mighty will probably get alot of air time like Slackjaw - grabs you right away - there was new one that had Led Zep all over it - a real rocker and they all sound so damn good! Bowery needs more a/c - Warren was melting on stage as were we. Barb, Russell and Leigh were lucky enough to get set lists and picks - poor Ron - lol Tshirts were also being sold which highlighted the fact that we heard the new songs first - lol Mule earplugs were being given out in a cool plastic pack - Nicole send me your address! where's my bed - LOL

Woody, The best way to learn about Cajun/Zydeco is to immerse yourself into it. Take a trip to the Lafayette area in Louisiana for a long weekend. Lots of live music there. The stop that cannot be missed is in nearby Breaux Bridge and the Cafe Amis. On Saturday mornings beginning at 8:30 they have a live band, dancing, great beignets and knockout bloody marys and screw drivers. Ask the dancers there where you should go and they will gladly send you in the right direction. The other websites given to you are good places to help.
