Happy Birthday to Hophead, Dan, nyc_eddie, and Mama Louise! Debbie, maybe they meant the Escorts. That's my guess anyway.

Every Wednesday night there is a trivia game at my local bar..........one of tonight's questions.....who was the southern rock "garage band" known as Encore & Hour Glass"...now I knew when he said Hour glass that it was the ABB, but never heard of them called Encore..............Lana, is this true???? Benjamin, got your package tonight..........THANK YOU SOOOOOO MUCH..........so many generous people here...can't even put into words how good that makes me feel. Just want to ask for prayers for the people in California........a good friend of mine in San Diego told me tonight that the fires are bad & his house is covered in ash.........praying the 100 degree temps stop and they can control the fires.........want to go get him and bring him to Florida...everyone thinks Florida is hot, but we have not reached 95 degrees yet this summer.......feel very lucky right now. Just hope the hurricanes stay away..........Aug-Oct is when we have to worry.

What skypup said!! If you haven't ordered the "Come On In My Kitchen" cookbook already, get to orderin'!:whip: Pre-sales end July 31!! Get your friends and family in on this, too. It's for the Rose Hill Foundation and the upkeep of our Sweet Duane and Berry's graves. I think $15 is the least they deserve for what they have given us!! Don't you?!?!? The books are $15 each and that includes any shipping charges. Please send checks to: Ann Sandlin 2824 Hunterwood Dr. S.E. Decatur, AL 35603 After the pre-sales, the books can be ordered from the Rose Hill Foundation. They will still be $15, but a shipping fee of $2.50 will be added.

Happy Birthday to all you celebrating. Here's to hoping you guys get one of those A to A+ Dickey shows tonight at the Beacon that people have seen recently. Hopefully, ya'll we'll get a bit of a March Madness in July Vibe going at Broadway & 74th. I'm gearing up for Ryan Adams & The Cardinals Sat night here in ATL at The Tabernacle. Ryan's another one that I've heard/read can bring an A+ game or sometimes is off kilter. His Austin City Limits tv show from last fall was a pure A+ (look on Dime). Hoping I get the same from him & the excellent Cardinals Sat.... There's great new music out there being played. Just keep your eyes & ears open in the not so common places...

Sheep, hang in there & fight with those insurance companies....they are dictating health care these days---really stinks. Will keep your family in my prayers.

Sheep, hang in there buddy! Sounds like the proverbial corner has been turned. Bless your daughter, she is a warrior(ette) 🙂 Somehow some good will come of this, trust me. Be it insight, new appreciation, caution, or relevance of life..... no bad leaves at least a little good. I originally mistyped good with food, but bad has never left me food. That I remember anyway. Wait, some rotten woman years back left me cookie crumbs..... Out of curiosity, is it entertaining watching a looney like me descend into madness?

I want to thank everyone, from the bottom of my heart, that offered thoughts and wishes for my daughter. She is still not quite out of the woods, she has to go through a 4 week intensive iv antibiotic treatment. To add fuel to the fire, our 2 insurance companies can't get on the same page. One is completely refusing to cover the home health care. It amazes me that you have to deal with this, when you just want your child well. I know it's not unusual, with HMO's & PPO's these days. As they say in Italy, bastardos!! Healing vibes for everyone else in need. Birthday wishes to those celebrating today.
