Sirius Radio is the best thing since white bread. When I posted the other day, I forgot to mention something about trading my book. As far as I am concerned, one can trade it to the devil. He could use a good laugh. Really it dose not offend me, at all. Remember material things are just that, material things. They come and go. Mdeneen, So, So, sorry to hear that you had a bad experience. A set list is not all that big of a deal, but to have someone do that is uncalled for. That is one of the bad things about roadies today. They do not have the feel for the people. Its just a job to most of them and not a way of life. This guy could have been a stage hand, not a roadie. I did see where Kurt said it was a roadie from Tom Petty's group. Now sometimes it best not to give up set list, In my case I saved them for the next gig. It was one thing I did not have to worry about getting together before the gig. I tried to make it as easy as possible. I did not have to wait for a set list I already had them. I, never in a million years, could have tore up a set list in front of the someone, who just ask for it. The man has a problem. Big Jim, you mentioned that your dad was in FORCE RECON, very impressive. The are the bad assesses of the world. One hears about the Delta Force, Navy Seals, and The Army boys that wear that little green hat, But you never hear about The Marines, FORCE RECON. A regular marine feels he is just as bad as the people in D F, N S, or the G B, but when FORCE RECON comes around, every body stands tall, and knows they are truly looking at the real bad assesses of the world. I know you are proud, as you should be. The story about what dept. the Marines were of the Navy, is a killer. I loved it. No truer words have ever been spoken.

Sweeties Great? They go to the Dollar Store and buy brand X Jello! They are the reason for world instability. They drive like maniacettes. They who hoo until kingdom come, at all kind of inapropriate times. They are a constant source of disagreement on the GB. The connive and scheme and are involved in all kind of dark covert things.

i finally got around to reading the article in RS about one of my favorite writers Kurt Vonnegut......he said that when he dies what he wants on his tombstone is the following: "THE ONLY PROOF HE NEEDED OF THE EXISTENCE OF GOD WAS MUSIC" So i caught Grace Potter last night at the World Cafe live.......she did a good show, not great IMHO. Man, should we take up a collection to buy that band some new equipment, or what? Grace does use a custom leslie, (guess that is where all the $$ went for the equipment...) but has to use her flying V guitar, and her lead guitarsman's guitars too.....anyway, this band has LOTS of potential, but not so sure that they have realized it yet. At times the music sorta ended abruptly, or trailed off into nowheresville.......or neverwasville.... anyway, it sure was good to get out and get some live music, regardless. peace everyone! happy humpday!

All I can say about the sweeties, is that their friendliness and kindness is the reason that I have made so many new real world friends from this website. Also, I've had a few scoundrels loath me in my life, and I take it as a compliment when they trash me, especially for not being like them. Rock on Sweeties!

Well, Iโ€™m not sure why weโ€™re casting our affirmations for the total grooviness of the Sweeties but Iโ€™m here to say that I personally love every one of them and I stand in awe of their friendship and partyability! Right on, Scotty? :clapping::clapping::clapping::clapping::clapping:

:birthday: wishes Krishna, Kendal and Phyllis! Happy Anniversary to Jack and Phyllis! Jack's got himself his own Sweetie in Phyllis. At the party we thanked her for hosting and she said "I'm doing it for Jack" with a smile. But from my eyes, it looked like Phyllis had herself a good time, too. She even beat Jack to Cervantes to see Honeytribe! Atta girl!! Sweeties rock. What about those Sweaties, though? Scotty??? :-p
