Happy birthday brother!!! Many happy and healthy returns so we can all celebrate together anytime and anywhere down the line. Do something special for yourself, you've done so much for all of us here. Enjoy the day or night by this point. Don't let 'em catch you, no. Thanks Gregg.

Let's all give a cheer to Brother John Howard aka Bluedad. I got the chance to watch the JFD dvd that I received yesterday from this fine gentleman. Let me testify to some fine damn players we have in this family.

Thanks for all the great years and wonderful songs from the heart. I hope to see you in March at the Beacon. Jan. of this year we visited the Big House and left a couple of pictures that are dear to me, one of you the other of Duane. Once again many Happy Wishes. Jnae and I wish you and Stacey Merry Christmas.

I'm new to the ABB website, having been a big fan here in Australia since the Fillmore East album. Just reading Randy Poe's book Skydog and he states that there is live footage of the original ABB with Duane!! I've got all the recent DVD's with the current lineup which is fantastic, but I would love to get hold of a copy of that live footage. Can anyone help me please ? Stewart, Australia

A song for Gregg. Happy Birthday. (as is sung by Steve Young, the composer) There are stars In the southern sky Southward as you go There is moonlight And moss in the trees Down the seven bridges road Now I have loved you like a baby Like some lonesome child And I have loved you in a tame way And I have loved you wild Sometimes thereโ€™s a part of me Has to turn form here and go Running like a child from these warm stars Down the seven bridges road There are stars in the southern sky And if ever you decide You should go There is a taste of time sweetened honey Down the seven bridges road

Happy Birthday Gregg! :flower2: Thank you for the music which has made my heart beam out to the universe in awe and wonder at the beauty! You are a national treasure. What a celebration of life that you-- with your soul, with your brother, with your soul/band/mates and with your name--enfuse the world with the magical verve of American music in ABB form. How great is it that that's going strong and we're all enjoying and groovin' here?!! A while ago, an Italian friend of mine, Claudio, came to the states for his first time and I made sure to take him to 2 ABB concerts during his stay!!:yep:... Bristol, VA and Jones Beach, NY--what a particularly magical night! He brought back to his very small lovely town in Tuscany a couple of ABB CDs, both from beginning times and the present. He loaned them to the cool young couple, Andrea and Antonella, who have one of the 2 bar/cafes in town and Andrea loved it so much that he played them ALL day long at FULL volume, morning to night for about a week! Some of the old-timers stopped hanging out :D, but it also drew people, like someone from Florence who stopped in and asked, "Hey is that the Allman Brothers?" Andrea said yes, and the guy said, "Yeah, sounds like I've got to catch up on what they're doing!" Again, thanks so much with all my heart for having such a powerfully love-filled influence in my life. I always consider it a huge stroke of luck to have the privilege of attending a concert...of all the places I could be in the world, I'm utterly grateful to be present at a moment when that brilliant, exuberant, soulful, intelligent, healing, inspiring vibe of the Allman Brothers Band is beaming out!! Am I gushing?!! :colors:  All the very best to you and Stacy! :inlove2: Love, Janet
