Sending out my best to all in need, always have you guys in my thoughts.
I have worked in adult and children's cancer clinics, and my heart goes out to all patients and families. I have met so many wonderful people, who have taught me so much about being Human. Words can't express my gratitude for them allowing me to help care for them, and for teaching me what is really important.

Hello there Brothers and Sisters in Music,
I am producing a series of radio specials on the truly great Conga players. A lot of those I've been interviewing have said they feel Marc Quinones is the best out there, or one of them at least!
Big honors...considering who has been saying this... The Legendary Ralph MacDonald, Count M'Butu, Leon Mobley, Sam Clayton, etc.
Anyhow...I was wondering how I could get in touch with Mr. Quinones. It would be an honor.
Hittin' the Note is excited to join these guys and the Sweeties to help raise money for the American Cancer Society as well as for the Bill Ector Medical Fund. We will be there both days with our merch on sale and with some cool auction items as well. We have invited Susan and Derek Trucks to attend the Saturday gathering along with Randy Poe, author of skydog - The Duane Allman Story. Additional musicians that are scheduled to Jam include Devon Allman, Pedro Arevalo, our own Lefty Collins and I hope Jr. Mack (I need to get in touch with him). See ya'll there - please help support this worthy cause!

As many of you know the Left Coast Crew traditionally throws a little shindig during the Allmanās March Madness. As previously announced we have teamed up with Hittinā The Note to throw what will be an even larger production than past years.
This year we have some extended family members who are dealing with family members who are ill. As a result, on March 31st, 2007 we will be hosting āJam for the Cureā, a fundraiser to benefit the American Cancer Society in honor of Tyler Seaman and Patricia Collins. Additionally, the Hospitality Sweeties, through their kind hearts, have agreed to assist. Therefore, the charity parties will be held on both March 30th and 31st 2007 in the Beacon Hotels conference rooms.
Cancer concerns us all. Although progress continues to be made in reducing mortality rates, cancer remains the top cause of death of Americans under age 85. Something can be done, but we need your help.
We will be holding an exciting live and silent auction and ask for your support. Currently we are seeking people to assist with soliciting businesses, corporations and individuals for donations of in kind donations and auction item. The money raised will support the American Cancer Societyās vital programs of research, education, advocacy and patient and family services. If interested, please send me an email at ssachs@fwhb.com with āJam For the Cureā in the subject line.
Until a cure for cancer is found, we will continue our commitment to find a cure. Join the many businesses supporting these efforts and do help make a difference!
With Sincere Appreciation,
Scotty and Big Rich
