No guns here, but I do have a couple of dogs. One's a total candy ass, but sounds really ferocious. The other one doesn't bark at all, but is very protective and has a very menacing vibe to strangers, meter readers, and to this one friend of mine who has sort of a weird vibe. Most criminals don't mess around with houses where dogs live. I also have my wife, and she can be kinda scary at times....just kidding, dear.

...Remain alert!.. Hi folks! Well, I haven't been checking in here lately, as some of you may have noticed. I've been going through some HUGE changes. First off, my long-time (14 yrs.) partner, Maxine (often refered to as Mrs.MH) & I have split up. I've moved to a new place & I'm still getting settled in. I currently am computer less (I'm at an internet cafe right now), so it'll be hit & miss as far as checking in here. I WILL BE AT THE BEACON! I know that most of, if not all of you will send me good vibes because I know how you folks are 🙂 Well that's it for now, Y'all take care, be well, PEACH! SEE Y'ALL AT THE BEACON!!! :clapping: :clapping: :clapping: THANK YOU LANA!!! :clapping: :clapping: :clapping: :clapping: :clapping: :clapping: THANK YOU ROWLAND!!! :clapping: :clapping: :clapping: ..The world needs more lerts! 😎 ...

For around the house and patrollin the perimeter I rely on a sawed off 12 guage, a stainless steel AMT (45 cal) Hardballer and a .380 Beretta in the back pocket for stragglers.

Bird, more than one person I know had imprints of the barrel bushing (hatch marks) on their foreheads while learning to dismantle the 1911. That spring is powerful. We had to learn to take it apart and reassemble it under a towel. I'm glad the military is going back to it. Browning designed a bullet...and built a gun around it. RickT, James Brown made up for not having a will with those frequent flyer miles he amassed. Between him and Gerald Ford I bet they could fly anywhere they wanted. ...ok, bad joke.

Good point on the wills. Whether there are lawyers around or not, it's up to you to make arrangements to have a will prepared. Most lawyers I know would never presume to call you to ask if you have a will. Also, many people get motivated at airflight time to do it. It's more risky to drive to work tomorrow.

...and to chime in here. Couple of months ago now, I posted here that the death of James Brown sould send out a clear message to go and get yourself a Will drawn up to protect those you love. Anna Nicole Smith's death sould obviously be a reminder also. Yeah, she had an outdated Will; even more support Wills should be updated as necessary. Who is advising these people???? Brown and Smith had lawyers all around them, but their basic business was not taken care of. Makes you wonder.

You guys are the BEST. thanks for all the good advice. The friend who will take me Sat will not steer me wrong, but zi will go to a professional to learn how to use it the right way. Neighbor stopped to tonight & asked me if I heard anything strange Sunday night.........so someone who did not belong here was in my development. I hate the world today...having to live like this. When I was a kid NO one locked theri doors........my how things do change. Arizona is sounding better & better to me. Thanks to all of you for caring.

Jimmy Walker is also as fine a gentleman as you will ever meet. When Randy first told me this story, I was stunned at how a mild mannered and intelligent person like Jimmy could turn into Super BadassMan! He's a class act, and my favorite personal guide to New York!
